First learn punctuation, capitalization, and sentence structure. When you have that under control, write a proposal for what you desire. Take the proposal to your Chamber of Commerce and they will get you started.

Friend, you are in school for what? To gain an education so you do not end up being an illiterate, non-contributing, and possibly homeless outcast of society. What use is gaining that education if you do not put it into practice? Common societal norms are being destroyed everyday by young punks such as your self who get offended at the slightest off-cuff mention that anything you do is wrong. I bet if we were face to face, you'd be all "puffed" up and "frontin'" right now too, huh? You think I'm a dick? I hope you don't go to college then, as those professors (if they are worth their salt) will take you to task for your presentation of self.
To keep up my pretense of being a dick: First, I rest my case as your first sentence is not even in its proper format... nor any of them. Second, I offered information on how you might obtain the process you were desiring - talk to your local Chamber of Commerce. Third - If you need a tutor, send me a PM.
There is nothing worse than seeing young students fall into the pit of "good enough". Of what value will it be to live a prosperous life if you do not know how to live?
Lord... and I choose to be a teacher? Yes. There is hope. Just saving one can save a million.

Thank You Sir-I get a headache sometimes trying to read these posts.
Before we all start a fight please let me say that MY grammar, etc., is often not correct either. HOWEVER, I am able to compose an understandable sentence. My apologies for getting hot-headed. I'm tired of dealing with idiots in real life and on the net... bad day. Please excuse me.
And no, the "idiots on the net" is not in total reference to you Mr. Centerpoint.

(BTW: Just a link to a site that describes the problem is rather uncaring. However, a description of the problem, direction for a slolution and a hint towards the resolution of the OP's query IS caring.)
I'm not certain, but I think the root of the problem is texting. Kids text incessantly these days, and I think that's where they pick up their terrible habits.
To the OP, you'll do yourself a favor in the long run if you take the time to write they way they teach you in school using proper capitalization, punctuation, and sentence structure. The adults of the world, who for many years to come will control your earning opportunities, are generally dismissive of youth who can not express themselves clearly in speech or in writing. If you also happen to use the word "like" more frequently than necessary, you might want to consider changing that, too if you want the respect of the generations in front of you.
If you don't care what we old guys think, then go ahead and interview for your next job with some of your friends. I'm sure many are hiring.

I generally disagree if you think this problem is from texting. Not trying to insult anyone here, but I think problems like this generally result from bad parenting.... which is also the source of many of the problems with Generation Y and/or the Millennial Generation. I can't help but notice a correlation between social problems, and or behavioral problems and parenting problems. It seems that many of my high school classmates with parents who would just bend over and give them anything they wanted and were accepting of anything and everything never turned out to be much. Many of them simply joined the masses of unemployed in Michigan to feed off the system and can't find jobs because they don't even know proper English.
Texting certainly doesn't help anything, but I wouldn't say it is the root of the problem. I say "like" much more often than I would.....prefer.

My pastor's wife is an English teacher and says she can't read half of the stuff she gets from students due to slang and abbreviated English-probably due to texting.
MichiganMilitia, I completely agree with you about parenting is the root problem. Unfortunately, I've been unable to have kids thus far and try not to speak about things I do not know about. Also, something is that unfortunate is that teachers have to bear this burden and end up babysitting and trying to raise the kids in their classrooms instead of being able to teach them due to the lack of attention/instruction and involvement that is a parents JOB/LOVE (those two words should be interchangeable in this context). I heard a disturbing "fact" the other day: children on general get less than two hours of serious one-on-one involvement with their mother during a typical day. Fathers are less than one.
The ultimate goal of a teacher is to teach the kid how to teach him/herself. Unfortunately, trying to instill discipline/etc does not leave time for teaching... my 2 cents.
This thread has taken a turn, but I do feel that getting these feelings in the open are conducive.
Texting is a symptom, but probably not the disease... I would lean towards parenting as well, if I were given that gift to be one.
Be fair guys,, I know it causes some brain damage.. But, some of us weren't exactly an English teachers wet dream.. I was asked once if English was my first language,, I was so bad at it.. I did figure it out eventually..
I'm sure BigBear, would give me a D+ or a C- if I was lucky..[Abused]
I was also going to mention that not everyone is blessed with decent written and verbal skills. I was recently asked to check out my little brother's resume, and I cried for the fate of the world the whole time. Many of my science nerdy friends can hardly type out one sentence without a misspelled word. My grammar and spelling has really taken a dive since I've become a forum rat. The way that I write for a forum audience is different than I should write if I were doing a paper or something.

Maybe a "C", but I'd give you a chance to resubmit. At least your typing is understandable without using a crpytographers' algorthymn!!
*teachers voice*: Please see edits. Rewrite and resubmit for a higher grade.
Kidding. I often use those ellipsis marks (...) way too much...
Again, I'm sorry. I've dealt with incessant stupid questions all day today at my work and it's not even afternoon yet. If people would slow down, take a quick second to read over some of the signs posted or documents in their hands, this world would be a better place! [LOL]
I was also going to mention that not everyone is blessed with decent written and verbal skills. True, but I feel they are nessecary skills to possess. I know several foreigners who's English is AMAZING because they took a few months to study and learn. They did not speak English. We do and are in school for YEARS to study it and still fail....
The way that I write for a forum audience is different than I should write if I were doing a paper or something. Understandable, I'm guilty as well... However, I'm sure we all at least try to put our best foot forward... somtimes. hehe.

Just to mix this up, I blame you old fuds for the way us Youngsters vomit out an ever evolving and never quite sufficient language. I remember a fine day in a mediocre middle school dealing with a teacher who felt that I was an “idiot.” Turns out, dyslexic, but that is beside the point, the point is, I ended up shutting down to his class and spent the rest of it thinking about the fine looking, acne faced, pre-pubescent females in my class and my totally consuming fear of them. Second point, who invented Cell phones, and there by texting, OLD PEOPLE! Like, Nuff said.
Additional concept
“Like” being said as a word with no meaning but expressing that the speaker is thinking is found to be bothersome as it is a word with meaning unto itself, this would be a logical complaint, but words such as “Ah” when spoken signifying thought may also be a word, as in “She purchased a new car” in certain accents. And the statement of “ah” is frequently found to be much more…palatable.
Cheers to you young man, the expression of your thoughts, while largely unintelligible, was clear enough, and you served to give a few fuds a few more grey hairs, reminding them that they will in all likelihood die first, and our new bastard pigeon Spanglish will live on. Viva La, like, Engl-eezy!

It gets worse!
So, I have to agree with MichiganMilitia and BigBear - in concept - that parenting (or lack thereof) is at issue here. I will not, however, give much of the blame to parents directly.
How can I possibly differentiate between the two? Simple. My experiences and subsequent training in acceptable parenting has taught me that I have very little say or control in how I parent my own children. It seems that if ANYONE takes issue with my parenting techniques and chooses to report me to DHS (that's the Division of Human Services folks, not Dept of Homeland Security), I am automatically guilty and in error. I learned the hard way that it's just safer for me to back off and not hold my own children to the same standards or level of accountability that I was held to. In fact, when all is said and done, I had no way of legally enforcing those standards (Parents are only allowed to "make it uncomfortable" for the child to fail to do as they are told. Even then, you run the risk of inflicting "emotional or psychological abuse".)
In the words of Winnie the Pooh, "Oh Bother"!

It's not anything against you.
If anything, it's more of a form of "tough love".
You will go much farther in life with proper grammar, good writing skills, and a strong vocabulary than without it.
Being able to communicate your thoughts clearly and concisely will put you light years ahead of your peers, and encourage people to take you more seriously.
If your english skills are behind, that's fine.
Given today's educational system, I can hardly blame you.
But you have the power to do something about it.
So grab a book, do some practicing, and fix the problem.
Trust me, in 5 years, you'll look back and realize it was one of the best things you ever did for yourself.

Crunch time during graduation IS stressful. I remember that pretty well, and I can definitely understand.
Just be sure that when you're finished graduating that you make some time for it.
You'll never "have" any time to give. You have to MAKE time for things that are important to you.
Good luck on graduation.

How we feel about kids... hmm.
I think all of us "old cusses" would say that we truly want the best for our friends... and since you are here hanging out with us now, you have, by extension, become 'one of us'. Therefore, we will always encourage you to better yourself and would hope you would do the same for us. It is a tough love... but love none the less.

So, no apologies necessary, just remember the old saying...
"If you can't find the time to do something right the first time... how will you ever find the time to do it again?"
Life is a one way trip... you only pass this spot once.
I am truly sorry for my grammer i have moved all over the world as a kid. I am close to 30... I've only been in the US for about 15 of those years. (Dad military/government work, been everywhere except the Sandbox.) Hinting, that moving is not an excuse, pick up a book. Was never given proper gramer course, i was never good at gramer and spelling is the worse. You are fine at it, just need to be more cognizent and add in the punctuation and capitalizing. That's why we go to school, to learn. but i wound like to take back what i said before about being a dick. No biggie, we are all dicks sooner or later.. There are three types of people in the world... I was just really tired because of graduation and all of these projects i have to do. It gets worse in the real world my friend. I never relized how you guys thought about kids now a days. We don't think completely bad things about "kids" now a days. There is a lot socially going on that we do not agree with. I am simply AMAZED by some of the 18 year old computer geeks floating around... however, it would be nice if they would learn to dress, tie their shoes, comb their hair, etc. Again i just want to say sorry. And I'm sorry for getting onto you, I had a bad day yesterday and I let me emotions get the better of me. Oh the fun of being human.
I really need to figure out how to do the multiple quoting from different people... sooner or later.

Yeah, that red text in the middle of other text is difficult to read. I just quote the whole thing and cut it up and copy and past the tags if I want to break it up. I've never used the multiquote thing, so that might be easier.
I'm almost positive that I'm different, but I always get irked at people complaining about finals and graduation. I was never any more stressed or busy at any time of the year than any other. I got so tired of hearing people complaining about taking finals. "I have FOUR finals today!" So what? I guess that was because I never really studied for any tests though, and didn't think much harder on tests than I normally did in class.
I didn't even attend my college graduation. My parents tried to make me, but I still feel like I did the right thing by dodging that whole mess. Like I want to sit in the middle of a soccer field with 1,500 other people that I didn't even know for 6 hours just to have my name read and 3 people clap for me. I don't even know when my graduation was supposed to be. Once I finished classes, I went and got a job.

Heck yeah, multiquote worked! I'm back in the game baby! Bring it!
I have always valued clear communication. At the same time I know I am not always good at it. One thing I do quite often is to type my post in Microsoft Word first. Then I run the grammar and spell check. It doesn’t always catch my mistakes but it helps. It also gives me time to think about what I’m posting. I then copy and paste it.
At the very least I use the "Preview Post" to proof read what I’m posting.
I use Word because it’s what I have and know how to use not because it’s best or easiest.

There is nothing worse than seeing young students fall into the pit of "good enough".
Winner!!
As a society we have been reduced by almost all means possible to be "Good Enough."
Be it through an education system that feels: "As long as you try you are a success."
Example- When my oldest was in 6th grade, '98 or so he was getting an intro into Algebraic formulae. I was overlooking his prior days work and noticed that even though he was completing the equations the final product was incorrect. The teacher gave him a B and wrote "Good Job" on it. I saved that paper until the next Parent/Teacher conferences. Come that day when the subject of math came up she said that my son was having a bit of difficulty and felt he needed to work harder. I pulled the homework assignment from my planner and set it before her. I asked her how he could get a B when the end product was incorrect. She stated that as long as they demonstrated effort towards the concept it was acceptable.
I told her we did not go to the moon on a "Demonstrated effort of concept".
Put the kids in a charter the next week...........
Or a Little League team that wont call kids by name, doesnt keep official scores and EVERYBODY gets a trophy.
My youngest wanted to play so we went to check out a game. I was totally amazed when the coach called the kids by number instead of name. No score kept so nobody's feeling would get hurt about losing, everybody gets a trophy.
Our kids are caught in a society where mediocrity is expected. Excellence is admonished.
How is a kid to learn to strive to do better if "Acceptable" is good enough?
If a kid never learns how to gracefully lose once in a while how are they to deal with loss's as an adult?
Centerpoint- Think of this: When you get out into the world and are looking for a job more than likely your resume'/application will be your first point of contact with a prospective employer. As a former manager when I saw an application or resume' with poor grammer, punctuation, spelling, penmanship etc. I for the most part dismissed it. You lose the game before you even step in the batters box.
Being willing to learn from others who have gone before you is the height of wisdom. Keep it up and you'll go far.
