Hey all,
Got out to the range today and decided to film a couple of the drills I do. Thought I'd share, any constructive comments/criticism is more than welcome, sorry for the wind, it was quite strong today. Enjoy!

I'd like to try that some time. I guess that gives me a reason to pick up a second spinner target.

We were using a digital camera (designed for still pictures) in movie mode, so the quality isn't great, but it works. If you want to upload to a computer or YT, it will have to be in a digital format. You can get a converter to go from tape to digital, but its much easier to go directly digital.

On my computer, there's a lot of wind noise and I can't make out what you're saying.

Looks like you were having fun! I need to pick up a couple of targets like that. Heck, I want to get a gong or two that'll withstand 5.56 and 7.62......

Yeah, sorry about that. I haven't learned how to control the weather yet.[Beer]

Thinking about this reminds me that I have a buddy with a couple of pieces of armor plate laying around. I'll have to talk to him next week....[Coffee]

El Prez is 3 paper targets at 30 feet with a turn and draw and a manditory reload after the first six shots follewed by 6 more shots.
Here ya go. This one is also a modified El Prez, but further instead of closer and with hostages. He shoots it clean btw.

Here's another one to watch for things to practice.

You can shave seconds off of your reload and your draw with dry fire practice.

I know what El Prez is, like I said in the description, this was my take off of it an how I practice a similar exercise. I also do drill dry my reloads and dry firing.
Thanks for the links!

You're assuming everyone else also knows this info and what you are doing differently too. That's all my previous post addressed by adding this information and the video.
Evil Roy makes good targets, but I might be tempted to get a couple yards further back. Once his welds break, they are a pain to weld up again.
watched the first video and I just noticed you cocked the gun off to the side instead of keeping it on target. hard to see you change out the mag but you could save yourself just a touch of a time keeping it on target.
watched all three now and it seems you do the same thing in all the videos. hard to tell since most of the time I don't get to see you drop the mag, but if you have an even close to seemingly tight fitting mag it will have a hard time dropping when you are angled instead of keeping straight on target.
Good shooting.
Takes time to set up a taget , especially on a windy day.
Video angle is difficult to give any feedback. I'm seeing lots of muzzle rise on the M&P, can not see enough to critique.
Ball cap....
Found out the hard way that empties can find their way behind your glasses.
