how big of a discount on ammo?
I want to say a case is around the $200 mark for 500 rounds of 45, 1000 for the 9 and I know it $199 for 500 rounds of the 40 because I got a case of the 40.
Might have to go down there, not like I can't throw a rock from my house that far or anything...
Go check them out. Real nice guys down there.

Are these the same folks who want to check ID on ammo purchases?
Are these the same folks who want to check ID on ammo purchases?
please tell
Yes, it was. This was due to the way their computer was set up the first week of operation. They made adjustments to their system now so you don't need to show your ID for ammo purchase. However, they do ask you some questions so they can log customers and keep you updated on special sales and events going on at the shop (optional). They still make you do a background check for the purchase of a firearm, damn them. Does that offend you as well?

No this does not bother me in the slightest, as it is required by law. I think the point that was trying to be made before by asking if they ask for an ID when you buy ammo, is that is a redicilous request.
Is this the motorcycle place over there?
If you go by there try and make time to go to Nono's for lunch!! Man that place rocks, they might just have the best baked macaroni and cheese you have ever had!

Hey Smarty, firearm is one thing, ammo is another. You are probably affliated, and I gotta say, you aren't good at convincing us to buy from you.
I stopped by at your shop on that last snow day. I was impressed, however, the ID info on ammo requirement turned me away. I am glad to hear otherwise.

agree 100%
you don't need to know anything about me or what I'm doing with my ammo.... If you have to know to sell it to me you can piss off, I'll spend my hard earned cash elsewhere!
but glad to hear they stopped that.

Talking about ammo, do you still want to get rid of those 762x39, KJohnson?

Does make me wonder why gpguns hasn't been here since 3/15....
One would think He'd be here promoting the hell out of this...
Kind of makes me think twice about spending money there.. (Well, if I had money..)
All I am trying to say is they are nice people and you should give them a chance. That's all.
Well, I still wonder if you are a disinterested party,, or do you have some type of affiliation with them?

Check out the new shooting sports store upstairs at Grand Prix Motorsports... Grand Prix Guns. Just opened March 1st, so they said they are getting new product in everyday. However, they did have some hard to find pistols in stock, lots ammo, competitive prices and great service. Just picked up a Springfeild XD 40 SC and they had two more on the shelf. Thanks GPG!!!!!!

Mainly trying to find out if he and gpguns are one and the same..
Since I would think that gpguns would be the one posting stuff like this..
Might just check the IP's to see if they are the same..

Eh, don't worry guys. If he is and doesn't admit it, then we know what type of store it is. If he isn't and just likes them a lot, that's fine and dandy (ghey) as long as every post doesn't become an advertisement.
We are here to spread the love of the shooting sports right?

One time I was on a running web site and posted about a workout I did on one of those machines that you buy off an infomercial. I was really surprised how difficult it was to do.
Everyone in the thread attacked me for being a shil for the company and spamming the website. Ironically, the whole forum was filled with other posts about how much people liked specific shoes, or brands of shirts, and even different kinds of drinks and snacks. Not a single one of those people was ever accused of being a shil for Saucony or anything. I made sure to point this out. It was very frustrating and I felt wrongfully accused.
What kind of store would that make them? One that advertises?

I went there and it's new, clean and they have motorcycles :) It's not very big and the guns I was looking at (glocks and XD's), they were not the lowest in town. That title goes to Green Mountain. But they are on my list of places to check on from time to time.

I dont care if anyone advertises. Its deceitful advertising that makes someone lose credibility with me. Just say; THEM: "I'm with XYZ store and we are running a sale on ammo." ME: "Cool. I need ammo. Maybe I will come buy some."
By the way Stuart, I dont appreciate you coming on here bringing your Saucony propaganda. You must have recently been hired, huh? [ROFL1]
Well, that is what I'm trying to find out..
If it's just a guy that thinks the store is great, that's fine..
Heck, had gpguns made a case I would have considered giving him a spot in the industy partners forum..
I'm not sure where gpguns has been. as stated 3/15 was his last log in..
But, IMO If, by chance they are one and the same, at least IP wise,, I will wonder a bit about the bussiness practices of the place..
I'm not sure why, but my BS detectors are going off..
Just need an explaination...

I work in the motorsports department. I am friends with the kid that runs the guns store. All I am trying to do is let people know there is a new place to shop, and learn more about the sport myself. As a firearm enthusiast’s forum, I thought people would like to know about sales and free stuff. I will not post flyers anymore; it was just the easiest way to show what was going on for the grand opening.
That's all you had to say in the first place... No big deal...
Got to admit it was looking highly suspect...
I was serious about the spot in the dealer forum, if he's interested...
Tell him to get in touch..
You're welcome!
I may stop by.. Can't afford anything but I do like to window shop!

Better tell Casey to stock up on windex and paper towels, there will be several of us drooling on the glass cases. And hoping to score the big win in the give away. [Luck]
