I keep getting this message when I try to enter threads:

"BigBear, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."
What gives?

Thanks,
Bear

It only happens every now and then after I'm already logged on...

Yes, I use a library or the computer at work... my rig bit the dust some time ago....

I'll just deal with it, if y'all don't see anything wrong.

Hey Bear I see you say your rig bit the dust, well thats my speciality, let me know what you got in trade and I will set up refurbished computer for you, let me know if your interested.

I appreciate it but I don't have anything to trade and finances are on hold for a while. Thanks for offering though. When I do get a computer, it'll be a brand new one. I've always bought refurb'd or older used, etc and am just tired of hte problems, etc. I want a machine I can launch a friggin' satelitte from if I need too... Course that ain't saying much as the Apollo lander was launch with less chip power than todays standard coffee maker, HAHA....

No problem, let me know if you change your mind, or when you do go to buy one contact me and we can freaking build you a bad a** one for half the price the big companies like Dell charge.

do keep it in mind, you really can build a better computer cheaper than the crap dell sends.

Yeah, can you build lap tops yet? I just bought one and want to find out if I can increase the RAM. I'll go ask my friends in chat.

For less than $600.00!

I just picked up a Dell Inspiron 1525 for $280 the other day off CraigsList. This guy seemed legit too. The other guy I called was an obvious thief.

Anyway, I've never had a lap top before, and as long as it works for what I bought it for (running Xactimate 27) then it was worth the money.

Plus now I can watch movies in bed and browse on the toilet.

...and browse on the toilet.

Only as long as the battery holds out. I used to do that, now the battery won't hold a change long enough for me to drop a deuce.
