YAY! Just kidding, these guys statements and actions remind me of a bunch of ten year olds, they just need to man up and play for god's sake

I was born an raised in CO, and the nuggets have sucked for most of my life.

if they win a championship I'll be pleasantly surprised, but I ain't holding my breath.

You have to cheer when they are down. Not like the French and wait to see who's going to win :)

Some of us just don't care. Especially since the Avs are out :(

Hockey isn't over just because the AVS are out! MTL WASH game was great tonight!

Honestly I didn't know what the hell the "Nugs" were until someone said Nuggets.

Don't remember the the last basketball game I watched. It's not really a sport.

It's not really a sport.

How so? Is it because you said so or because you don't know shit about the sport? And please don't say because it's just a bunch of "thugs" on the court, that's a lame ass excuse!

That was a good game, they actually got good calls and played pretty well. Hopefully they can get two more wins!

Okay, so I'm biased on this one - I despise basketball and (honestly) most other "sports". I don't mind having golf on the TV on a summer weekend - it's the perfect background noice while I nap on the couch.

I, too, agree that it isn't a sport - and here's my justification:
A "sport" should entertain and excite you. I went to one Nuggets game (that's 1, which seemed like 2 more than I even should have been to) several years back. Only one other time have I been that bored and dismayed by the lack of activity on the court (playing field, etc) and that was back in 1988 at the Fencing competition of the '88 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. (Total snooze fest!). Perhaps I'd find it more interesting if they performed a ritual sacrifice of the losing team captain at center court following the competition - now that would make for a SPORT!

Wow, you're going to argue basketball is not a sport? Sad. You may not like it but really, not a sport?

Okay I guess I'll agree that violence and blood would make anything more exciting but, your justification of something being boring is another lame ass excuse of why something isn't a sport. Untill someone comes up with an actual reason why basketball isn't a sport, then I will continue to believe it is! Now if you still think it is not a sport and want to meet up and play a game or two, let me know.

Haha - now that would be an ugly sight. All us old-farts playing basketball.

While you may not find it a sport from the sideline I'd suggest getting up off your butt and giving it a try. Don't let being in the old fart group hold you back because my old man still has it in em [Coffee]
