another aurora link. same place the "innocent hotdog" vendor lived too.

amazing how the "sources" came out and said there was no link to terrorist, yet days later the thin thread that ties things together is getting clearer.
the SUV bomber is hooked up with a woman (his "wife") from aurora, paki birthplace, etc.

had this attempted bombing been linked to a person of Anglo descent do you think the MSM would be this apathetic?

not a chance if it was a anglo, there would be extreme hell to pay.

maybe we need to evac all the good guys out of aurora and send the national guard in like chicago wants to do

anyone else notice how obama said the same thing about this bombing as the underware guy.
he said they were thwarted because of alert citizens.
come on now, they were thwarted because the bomber's did a bad job and the bombs failed to work properly.
guy burns his balls instead of blowing up the plane and the truck was smoking becuase the ignition method was poor. both excuted their plans succesfully, only the technical aspect of the ignition on both bombs failed.
to me these were successful attacks, we got lucky and no one was hurt is all that happened here.

Yeah, I get irked by all this alert citizen crap as well. They said that the car bomb, had it worked probably, wouldn't have just sat there and smoked and would have gone off hours before. Cheers to the guy who hailed a cop and said 'hey that truck has been sitting there for hours and now it's smoking, shouldn't someone check it out?'

Also, I've never been to New York, but from the pictures I saw of the way the vehicle was "parked" wouldn't someone have come along and checked it out within a few minutes? It looked like it was parked on the middle of a corner or something.

Nope... if you'll notice, a majority of people have an "eyes on the floor" mentality resulting in no one doing nothing because they "don't want to get involved". Most people ignore domestic assualts, fights, broken down cars, etc.... Used to be a time when you can pick up a hitch-hiker and be a good samaritan without worrying about being mugged, raped, or killed....

Yeah but what about the police and parking people? I don't expect the people bar hopping to be like, "Someone has strangely parked this vehicle! Someone needs to be alerted!"

Same applies, most majority (yes I'm generalizing) of police and parking people have a reactionary mindset instead of pro-actionary....

Police react to crimes, parking people react to violations...

Not many PD actively pursue intended crime (generalizing!!!)
Not many parking people ... do their job until called! HAHAHA.

thats because in NYC people literally park anywhere. i've seen them triple parked jamming up a narrow 1 way street. if you're driving around madhatten and you see somewhere to stop, that's not in a towaway zone, you grab it and do whatever.
