Hello to my fellow CO AR-15 members

I am posting this looking for help from my fellow shooters. I know as a whole we are a caring and compasionate community. I am coming to you all today asking for your help and support for a very worthy cause.

In Feb. I signed on to run a half distance marathon for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. People have been asking me why I would do this. The reasons are really simple. First I lost 2 of my grandparents to cancer when I was very young. Second I have lost other family and friends over the years from various forms of cancer. And third because I want to help.

Now I am coming to you all because I need your help. Part of the training program I have been involved in involves raising money to help research and fight these diseases. So i am asking you all to do what you can to help. Think of it this way. When you donate you will help a patient get to much needed doctor visits. Even if you only donate $50.00 that puts gas in the vehicle of a patient that may not have the funds to get to these treatments. I am not asking you to help me. Think of it as helping your family, friends, neigbors, church members, or just helping your fellow man.

I am sure as a group of hard working, family oriented, concerned people we can all do our part to help fight and hopefully end these diseases. So please go to the link below and do all you can.

Thank you and God Bless
Jeremy Buck

Gents, this will be my 3rd year working with TNT. I ride the Moab Century, a 100 mile bike ride with one of the 3 to 5 most difficult climbs in the US.

We raise money for LLS, it is a very worthy cause, they really do the 25% - 75% split on over head to giving.

What 1/2 marathon are you doing?

Best of luck to you! I just did the kick off for my season today.

Gents, as I said this is a very worthy cause. I could make the coldest hard ass choke back tears by telling a few of the stories I've heard from people who have fought off leukemia. Like the one I heard today by the way.

I'm a leukemia survivor but my fight wasn't that bad. Besides I'm a grown man not a little kid. Leukemia is the #1 cancer kill for children and young adults. Please give if you can.

Today was my run for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society in Steamboat Spring. I went 13.1 miles in 2 hrs 23 mins. That is over 10 mins. quicker than my best time. I want to thank everyone that has helped this worthy cause. There is still time for those that were thinking of donating to do so. I can still accept donations until July 6. So if you were thinking about it please help this very worthy cause. and thank you again to those thathave.
