I think I want a .243 dpms but want an accurate rifle. Is DPMS panther LR going to put rounds within 3/4 moa or should I look more into the rra coyote/predator models? I am talking 20" barrel etc.

both are going to be pretty close. I love all my RRA stuff and have found everything to be extremely good quality. I love for RRA

tough as woodpecker lips, says who? just kidding. Is dpms up to or close enough to rra? I want .243 for big game capability as I spend $1200 for a rifle plus optics.

I have owned several DPMS and RRA rifles in either 5.56 and 6.8. Both never failed me with the proper ammunition. Both shot better then I could.
I think it comes down to what you want to spend.

My personal opinion would be to buy a DPMS in .308. Just me though.
Way more options for the 308 in an AR then a .243. YMMV[Beer]

Have you considered staying in the AR-15 chassis and getting a 243WSSM?

Mike Milli of www.dtechsuperstore.com will build you a custom 243WSSM for less than the cost of the big AR-10 chassis guns... with guaranteed accuracy.

I recommend you give him a call. Mine shoots well under .5 MOA

Another vote for RRA. I had a 20" in .223 and that thing was a tack driver.
