What the hell. It is the damn near the middle of May and we are still getting snow[Rant2]. I am over this winter crap. I want to hit the mountains and the water. Come on summertime.

Don't worry, by mid June the snow will stop. Usually...
No, I have been here almost 13 years now. Just wanted to rant about the snow.[BooHoo]

At least every other year we get heavy snow in June... at least for the last.... say 28 years I've been in Colorado.
Anybody remember how many times the Pikes Peak Hill Climb was postponed because of snow? It used to be held on July 4th weekend. It was most years.

transplants............?!?!?!?
I have been in Nederland on July 4 and been in a major snow storm. We have about 5 inches here today. and we need the moisture, bad. thanks to all the subdivisions, golf courses and other crap, farmers and ranchers cant get the water they need. So, any water falling out of the sky is appreciated right now.

Sure, it happens, but it doesn't mean we have to like it. I agree with ToliXD, it's time for winter to be over and for summer to begin (since we don't ever have Spring, I won't include it).
Walking in to work this morning I was getting pelted in the face with snow/ice crystals. They felt like hundreds of needles.
At least the roads weren't too bad for me, but they're actually getting worse (according to the radio news).
I love the snow, and I'd love to get an unprecedented blizzard on the fourth of july.

well, it goes without saying, but yes, it is bush's fault.
and it is a conspiracy by the white man, because the snow is white.

I thought "Bush's Fault" is the whole tectonic plate thing running under the Rocky Mtn's that could give us the worse quake in U.S. history.

In the end, CO (at least here in the Springs) we get a lot less snow/ice than any other place I've ever lived. The problem I have is that we get it so much earlier (Oct) and so much later (May/Jun) than those same places.

Anyone else getting the 'mud snow'? The last three snows we have gotten, there was nearly as much dirt as snow. It melts off then there is more than 1/8 inch dirt left an everything.[Rant2]

The red dirt one was from a huge desert storm in Arizona..
The one before that was from Central Asia.

It is the red dirt again. 2 black trucks, 2 dark maroon trucks, and a dark blue car. The dirt isn't so bad on the white truck.[Bang]

It looks terrible on the black stripes on the stang, and makes my gunmetal color on the bottom of my truck look rusted out.
