Is a Saiga in 308 for 525 a good deal?
Need a little more detail, they make alot of rifles lol.

there are at least 4 recent varieties, with varying values..
the Saiga-100 (receiver encapsulated in plastic) has the lowest value,
then the 16" 308-1
then the 21" 308-1
then the 308 v21 (which has wood furniture, a thumbhole stock, and has the FCG in more or less the "Standard" AK location) has the highest value
$525 would be a good price for the 21", or an "ok" price for the 16".. you can figure the others from there..

while we're on the subject of Russian .308's..
I found this one a while back on GB:

was thinking it's a VEPR, now he's updated the pictures, and know for sure that it is...
depending on reserve, could be a decent price for a VEPR in .308
the Buy it now is pretty decent for a VEPR, actually...
