Do you guys post pics here from your harddrive or from a photo server?
Oh yeah, how do I get an avatar? Thx
I use photobucket, for your avatar click private messages on the top right, and on the left of the screen that comes up, it will say edit avatar.

Are you making any money on it, or is it a total loss? I know b/w is cheap now days, but the last time I worked with a free image host they were pumping out 130+ Mbit/sec at peak. 80Mbit/sec daily average.
I don't see any advertising on it, so I'm guessing you're doing it for fun not profit. Good luck!

I asked one of the programmers to create that simple site because I was sick of advertisement, pop ups, and unable to post image the size I wanted. Since I have a few servers going for other entity, why not.
Now that you mentioned it, I just glanced at the google analytic and it hits 24000 unique hits a month.. advertisement is probably coming [Beer]

Are you not paying for bandwidth? Also if you allow people to hotlink directly to the image your advertising will be bypassed 90% of the time. Have you had to deal with any legal complaints yet?
After having seen the inner workings for a site like that, it's something I'd avoid ;) Good luck with it.

Not to worry.. bandwidth are real cheap compare to few years ago. I have a couple other domains that really eat up most of the bandwidth. 24000 direct unique hit is just about 10% of referral hits, although still infant, that gotta generate some kind of revenue.
I have couple guys working as our IT for our main business, they do get legal notice from time to time. No biggie.
Thanks
