Gee...I'm stunned at this ruling.
Obama's Aunt Granted Asylum, Stopping Her Deportation to Kenya (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/05/17/obamas-aunt-granted-asylum-prevent-return-kenya/?test=latestnews)

SOURCE: Associated Press

Remember this BS --> "Onyango moved to the United States in 2000. Her first asylum request was rejected, and she was ordered deported in 2004. But she didn't leave the country and continued to live in public housing in Boston. Onyango's status as an illegal immigrant was revealed just days before Obama was elected in November 2008. Obama said he did not know his aunt was living here illegally and believes laws covering the situation should be followed.

Obama and his aunt should have both been deported.

Like that's news? Actually, I don't honestly believe that he even qualifies as an anchor baby.

THe woman was here illegally AND she was living in Public Housing? An illegal immigrant stealing services meant for lazy no-good citizens [not that EVERYONE in Public Housing is a lazy no-good]? Say it isn't so.

The morning after the election the wife and I checked the news to see who won. When we found out it was obama my wife looked at me and said "For the first time in my life, I'm ashamed to be an American."

Funny, mine looked at me and said it was time to move back to Ireland, lol.

I looked at mine and said "we just HAD too feed the pilgrims...Now look where we are"
Let this be a lesson to you. Control the immigration or you will be over-run, exterminated and then forgotten.

Why do I have to press 1 for English?
What Number do I Press for Cherokee or Yurok?

Reminds me of a shirt I saw once and really wanted to buy for a friend but they didn't have our sizes. We were having a conversation about NSA/FBI/HLS/TSA, etc. Anwyas, he's a Native American and the shirt had a picture of a few Indians holding bows and guns and the caption said something along the lines of: "The Original Homeland Security Since 1492"

His response: Didn't work then, not working now.

HAHAHAHA.

This might sound a little racist/ignorant/etc... but:

Why is their an option for other languages besides English? Isn't that "our" national language? I called a help line the other day and there were options for Chinese, Spanish, French, and then English.... Come to this country, speak our language. I think that would solve a few problems of intergration right off the bat..

Let me give you the Libtard answer you so seek (I've heard these words probably a hundred times while arguing against multi-lingual classes, gov documents in spanish, etc)

English isn't our national language, we have no official language

The same reason there are both men's and women's restrooms.

Do you get offended when cars are offered in other colors besides the color you personally prefer?

US doesn't have any official language btw.

Now, Political Asylum is granted to those who are being prosecuted in their homeland. I thought Obama and family are HEROES in Kenya. His popularity is much higher there than here. [Tooth]

Learn soemthin' new everyday.

Only when the cars are like puke green and stuff.

There's an echo in here! lol. Thxs. I honestly didn't realize there wasn't an acknowledged "official" language... I think it might help if there were one. I get to deal with a lot of people everyday and not all of them speak understandable English... some days, it's just plain out rough.

Could you speak English the moment you arrived in this country?

Yes. I'm a native, lol. Just haven't lived in the States all my life.

I understand it takes time to learn the language, etc. I'm not faulting people for not speaking the language. I'm faulting them that they don't "seem" to try (they may, I don't know everyone who comes through). They come here, set up their own communities and try to have little cuba/china/whatever. Which is great, but at least try to be able to communicate with the rest of the country.

Eh, maybe I'm just blowin' things out of proportion.

I'm really surprised Obama hasn't already moved Aunt Mammy into her own room in the White House.

I don't think so. Lack of integration is a major problem with both legal and illegal immigration recently.

Why not a "First Aunt" since we already have a "First Granny?" The mother-in-law, Marian Robinson, is still there. (http://www.zimbio.com/Michelle+Obama/articles/gSTRnBGwsdd/Marian+Robinson+Obama+Mother+Law+Enjoying)

That said; can't beat-on that topic/decision too harshly even though I'm no supporter of it. Probably makes some good sense to have a grandmother around with the distractions POTUS / FLOTUS life would bring upon the kids.

But...still just "feels weird" to have the wife's mother there.
