I am ranting on how people think because they paid X amount of dollars on a holster that they already sweated on drastically increases the price of a mediocre firearm. I just do not get that. What is going on lately? There are some nice firearms on the trading post, but damn if folks are super proud of their USED firearms that are not exactly LNIB. Am I the only one seeing this? Also it isnt that hard to resize your pics to post as a thumbnail in their add. There is even a tacked thread on how to post pics in a thread. iWhat the hell is going on lately?

I think there is already a thread to cry in here >>> http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23644

Seriously, why do people get so worked up over certain listings. If you don't like what you see move on.

I think I get worked up because we are a small community and watching someone take advantage of a nother is pure bullshit.

How is it taking advantage if the said person that agrees to buy the firearm or whatever it may be? Just like I said in the other thread It's kind of a one mans junk thing and anything is only worth what another is willing to pay. Hell I know I over paid from a couple of guys I purchased from here but that's what I chose to do. I figured no paper work the arms were in great shape and big brother doesn't know what I have. Hell I even paid way too much for some ammo from a guy here (I won't mention any names) when everyone was price gouging ammo. But again I was desperate to shoot and couldn't find any of the said ammo anywhere so I chose to pay.

If people are too stupid to do their homework and figure out what they can get and if they can get it for cheaper then that's on them. Only the willing are taken advantage of besides children of course. If you're a grown man you should know better.

Sorry bro, but I bought things overpriced all the time as long as its local, no tax, FTF etc. I sold many few year old things at retail price too. Retail price is not always the market price - if there is a buyer, why not.

I should rant about how many rant posts on 'over priced items' one of these nights. [Tooth]

Offer them a price and if they don't like it move on.............

we are all a smart bunch. so if there is a firearm overpriced no one will buy it and the price will eventually come down. most people will work with you on the price if you just shoot them a reasonable offer, the worst they could say is no. I have seen some of the best deals on here sometimes they are so cheap i have to rub my eyes and check the posting again. patience is the key and be the first one to jump on the steals or they get snatched up fast. I do see some postings where the asking price is laughable, but i just skip it and go to the next. no need crying over spilt milk [Beer]

we are a small group, but if people want to pay the money, then they will, if they don't want to pay the money the guy won't sell it. very simple.

To some people a gun that they don't have to do a background check for is worth more than retail just for the simple fact that there isn't any paperwork that has their name on it. I like that as well, as it is just one less thing the .gov knows about or could get their hands on.

so there really isn't anything to complain about, I just put out an offer to a guy here on a rifle that I could buy on gunbroker but the local aspect of it and not dealing with shipping and paperwork and everything is more convenient and makes the gun worth a little bit more, even though he still turned down the offer.

Personally, I hate it when somebody sells too cheap. I always seem to find those about 30 minutes too late, which leads to the banging of the forehead against the monitor. Just hurts, man.
