I didn't see this in another thread, so...
House Speaker Pelosi says government health insurance frees Americans to become unemployed and follow their dreams.
The jist of this is that you don't have to be gainfully employed, you can quit your job and pursue your dreams and potential talents ("if you want to be creative") - but don't worry, the taxpayers will pay for your health insurance.

I share the instinct to question anything she says, but there would be an upside to true universal healthcare (rather than an abortion of a law that keeps the insurance companies screwing us). It *would* encourage entrepreneurship...both due to individuals being able to leave their "safe" jobs and start businesses, and also because it would make hiring people much simpler and cheaper. The only question is whether it could be done without bankrupting the country. Since we're already pretty much bankrupt that may be a pointless question.
That's all fine and good. But, thanks to Nanners I don't have any money to pursue my dreams... [Abused]
plane crashes, car wrecks, and botched SWAT raids happen all the time. *crosses fingers"

pelosi needs to be sent to afghanistan to walk through the street and help those people since she does such a great job here.

You know bitch, I have been following my dreams since 83 as an artist, it hasn't always been roses. But it has been an uphill battle that I could reach a rung at a time. Nowadays, your Liberal Democratic platform, has pulled the ladder out from in front of me. People aren't spending money, my insurance has gone up through the roof, sales are down 40% from last year.
So, you can choke on that statement you loudmouth bitch.
The statement would read better if it were this... "Lose your job, then adapt and survive" I think that is what she meant.
Pelosi lives in a political bubble. Her father, Thomas D'Alesandro, Jr., served as Mayor of Baltimore for 12 years. She's had a golden spoon her whole life. This is a great example of what happens when families get entrenched in government service. This just shows how out of touch they have become, probably has no clue what a gallon of gas, or milk costs. Just another POS that needs to go...
I would love to quit my job and do something I enjoy... unfortunatly, I have bills to pay and there doesn't seem to be a need in my area for what I can do, lol... Besides, I'd be really bored without my job.
Pelosi is a wretched sack-o-shit and I cannot believe I have to co-exist in a time and place where that garbage rises to a level of distinction [and power], disgusts the hell out of me.
A face only a socialist could love...

Dang, if I could afford a printer that would work with my computer, I could have targets for the next shoot...[Tooth]

And then think of all of the additional entrepreneurship we could get if people didn't have to stay in their safe jobs to pay their mortgage. Or put food on the table. Or make their car payment. If I didn't have a reason to work I'd be working my butt off designing all kinds of cool new products and getting a new business of the ground. Really. I would.
In all seriousness you don't create innovation by taking away challenges. There are lots of people in this country that are already given free or subsidized health care. By your logic they should be creating new businesses much more frequently then the rest of us but the ones I know aren't.

Aren't my rounds supposed to be NOT scared of the target ???
a .223 only has only so much power before running scared.....
Silly Pelosi, I'm way ahead of her.
"I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later."
when are dems gonna start being generous with their own money instead of everyone else's?

For real... the equal disbursement doesn't qualify them you know...
I'm on a quest to raise $3,600 for a project, so far I have .49 cents... if we did wealth redistribution... lol.
Well, I'm sure half of Nanners salary would tide me over for the next year and a half..
