Didn't see this posted yet. This Nozzle needs to GO!!
hmm... but Obama said nothing about how Mexico treats illegal aliens? Interesting....
BTW, Mexico will throw you in jail (and deport within 72 hours) for even being suspect of being an illegal, with no due process. It is up to the individual to prove innocence... which is kind of hard to do behind bars.
Who cares what Mexico does? I thought every one wanted to prove how we are America and don't want to change? In a conversation about the individualism of America, how other countries behave is a completely moot point.

I guess the "tit for tat" arguement won't work here in response to the first questions.
Second question: America IS changing, hence all the disagreements, etc. People USED to use legal means via perris island, etc. Now they just walk across the border, etc.
Third sentence: Agreed I guess.
In the documentary Food Inc, it mentions how many agribusiness companies actively recruit workers directly from Mexico (they show the signs in Mexico advertising work in the US at specific companies), then the local authorities will bust and deport a few people here and there, while completely ignoring the fact that the only reason those people are here, is because the local slaughter house invited them. They (agribusiness) have such a hold over the poor communities that they are located in (apparently) that no one will stand up to them or say anything.
Just something to consider (the broader picture) before this thread turns into another misguided diatribe about shooting illegals on site as they cross over.
Personally, I think that is the main reason the Federal government won't do anything about the immigration issue, way too many ties to big business.
