I am throwing this here as there is a ton more traffic......

I picked one up from 5280. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with any Tapco magazines? When I loaded it, loaded a lot like PMAGs....which is nice and smooth.

On a side note, the time was roughly 2pm and as I walked in...about 10-15 shoppers and as I walked in, one of the employees, yonger kid, asked me how I was and if I needed help finding anything. Then low and behold, they had what I wanted and Matt even rung me up and was cool as can be.

Never understood why there is such a bad rep for them. Never experienced it even when the panic buying happened.

I haven't used Tapco magazines, I have used their G2 triggers, if the mags are like the triggers than no problemo.

5280 has been good to me, same with Firing Line, Green Mountain, Gun Room, Gunsport, and Jensen's.

did you pay a million dollars for it? that may have been why he was actually nice to someone [Tooth]. I bought a crapload of steel IMI mags at the tanner a few months ago for $25/30rnd and $35/50rnd.. I'd try some Tapco's if the price were right. Think I saw some online for $10. Where was 5280 at for them?

You probably paid much more than you should have.

And you didn't mention it to him or ask him to beat or match a price online. Because then you'd have a pissed off story to tell.

$14.99 for it.

EDIT: I looked at the receipt and I paid $16.99 and MSRP is $15.99. So 5280 raised it a whole buck to make a buck profit. I dont feel that is price gouging like some have said.
