New member in Colorado Springs

Hi everyone,

I am a new member, joined today. I relocated here in September 2009, moving from the great state of Kalifornia. Glad to be in Colorado where the gun laws are not insane. I started to collect the parts for my first AR-15 last year while still a California resident...assembled the rifle after I moved here. No longer need the parts needed for a California legal AR-15!

I have one question - how do you go about getting a membership card so you can order from the CMP.

Welcome, for CMP you can join the forum, or attend a shooting event like a highpower match or an appleseed.

Next local (Falcon) highpower match is the 13th. If you have not done this it is fun, takes about 3-4 hours and only costs $5. Lots of applesseds in the area as well.
