So i just thought I would start a thread and share the complete upper I just ordered. It should be here next week and hopefully I will have it by next weekend, so I can go and shoot it and give a full range report.

Another member on here brought it to my attention, and i know he ordered one too, but I will let him chime in on his own if he wants.

So it is a 16" 1:9 twist complete upper, comes with BCG and CH. A2 FH, standard M4 hand guards, M4 feed ramps. All for $335. I called and talked to a guy at the company this morning about 8am, very nice and very knowledgeable, answered all my question and was extremely pleasant. I got an email a little after 2pm with the tracking number that they shipped it out already.

The guy on the phone told me they were bull barrels, and are real good quality. We will see. He also told me they just received 100 more today, so they have plenty. They must not have been able to update the quantity before leaving for the weekend. But they do have more.

All in all I figured it was worth giving it a shot at that price.

I will update the thread with a range report and pics once I receive the upper.

You must've gotten the last one! I clicked the link to check it out, and they're sold out. Nice find - interested to hear how it shoots.

They did have the same upper without a BCG or charging handle, for only $235, so I got one! Thanks for the tip!

You should have read my whole post, I stated that they received 100 more today, but they must not have had time to update there website.

Maybe you can call them Tuesday morning(or even try them tomorrow) and see if you can get the BCG and CH model.

When I ordered mine this morning the site showed they had 11. Looks like they are selling about 75 a week, I jave been looking at these for a few days now.

Yeah - I clearly spent too much time in the sun today! My haste and inattention actually paid off, becuase I don't need the BCG or CH, so I got lucky and saved some cash. I'm glad I looked around and found the other option.

Again - thanks for sharing the intel - great find![Beer]

How did it go yesterday Doc?

I was able to hit the soda can every time from 25yards, which is good enough for me. Tried whole bunch of different ammo, the only problem I had was Wolf 55gr FMJ (Couple of FTE). will try to upgrade D ring.
overall I'm pleased with the upper.

I took mine out Sunday and ran about 300 rounds through it and it ran great no real issues to speak of.

Doc, you mentioned you were having extraction issues, what type of issues were you experiencing? I didnt have any problems with it ejecting any spent cases, but they were ejecting mostly at 1 o'clock, sometimes 12 o'clock, and sometimes it would land right on the table and not go any farther. They all ejected, just not like my other AR that shoots them about 10 feet to the right at about 4 o'clock.

I went and got some o-rings from home depot and added two of them to the extractor and trimmed them so it fit back in. I will try it out like this and report back.

Mine came in, too. It looks really great, but I'm waiting for a RRA Chrome bcg to arrive before I shoot it (on sale for $135!) . Range report after arrival.

I took 25 30rds mags with me that day had first FTE at the end of 19th mag (it was the fourth mag loaded with wolf) was able to get the case out of chamber. after that I was able to shoot 3 more mags without any problems (wolf).
the last FTE was pretty bad, I couldn't get the spent case out of the chamber and stoped shooting that ar. so I brought home 2,5 mags loaded with ammo and ar with the stack case inside the chamber.

Broke it in with about 200 rounds, then shot another 500 rounds in a class. Not a single issue. Next time out, about 200 rounds in, it turned into a single-shot rifle. The gas block had loosened a bit, and the gas was no longer being applied to the BCG key. Got a GGG block with folding site, and expect that to fix the problem. Seems like a good deal, all around.

The original block was held in place by 2 hex-head screws, one of which is missing, and the other just loose. It didn't appear that lock-tite had been used. If anyone has any interest in the block, let me know.

Wow, thats good to know. I have probably 600 rounds through mine, I will check the block on mine.

Thanks for the heads up
