I wonder if it would be ok to raise a statue of Jesus Christ at DIA around Christmas?

We can have a corner deliberately left empty for the Atheists.. [ROFL1]
There's a bit of a difference between the two, namely there isn't a world religion centered around Anubis.

So no exhibit inside chronicling the life and times of the Savior either then?

And it's part of an exhibit.
I'm picking people up on the 28th, would be a pretty cool addition to the airport tour if it was up by then.

I'm just glad they aren't removing the horse that looked like it got struck by lightning!
I don't see how a statue of Anubis to advertise a King Tut exhibit is in any way related to Jesus. By the by, I saw the exhibit in Las Vegas some time ago (although I assume it may have changed since then), it was really cool.
I'm glad you brought up that Horse Ryan. I think that thing is bad ass and I love seeing it when I drive out there. What do those whiners call that horse now? Some combination between some name for Satan and a Horse.
EDIT: I remembered, people call it Blucifer.

that airport is creepy as hell.
Has anyone else seen the murals on the walls in the main entrance?
Don't be one of those guys. I was just reading a thread I found when Googling for the nick name and all kinds of people are afraid of DIA. Yes seen the murals, aware of the pattern of the runways. All a bunch of crap.

News to me. Fill me in. Tin foil hat on. [Desert]
If you look at the airport from above in google maps the arrangement of the runways kinda sorta looks like a swastika.
The murals thing is long and involved, but basically the kind of people who interpret symbols and believe that vast, world wide conspiracies leave pictorial clues laying about for a laugh think that the murals tell a sinister story.
Add to that the keystone in the airport that references the 'one world airport commission' or similar, and the usual stories about workers on site seeing vast underground storage facilities and you have a New World Order conspiracy theorist's dream.
Interesting.... Stupid (IMHO), but interesting. Any pics of the said murals, etc? I saw the google maps thing. I don't really want to make a trip to Denver...
The Masonic New World Order lizard-aliens living in the tunnels under DIA don't approve of your question!!
Oh, and as a former Brit, it is comforting to learn that the queen is buying up huge swathes of Colorado to re-establish her dominion over the provinces come 2012.
Although I'm not going to renew my passport once it expires, it doesn't expire until 2013, so I look forward to strutting around Colorado Springs in my bowler hat giving all you colonials what-for :D

some pictures here... found with a quick google search, I didn't bother reading the content

I wasn't aware of conspiracy theories. I just always found the murals creepy.
I see nothing wrong with the statue...they said it will be up for the art/history museum, so I imagine it would be taken down after that.
as for the blue mustang, the thing is beyond fugly and needs to be removed.
as for the murals on the wall, I am always amazed every time I walk by them, I really want to get a picture of them on my find, they are pretty interesting looking.
As for the runways, DEN is one of the best built, largest by acreage and most useful airports. although the taxi can be pretty long, they have all the runways they need to make the airport extremely efficient no matter what the winds are, I don't think a swastika is what they had in mind when they designed it.
I had to go check out the murals for an art class once. It is just art. I took some pictures of the murals again a few years later when the conspiracy theory thread popped up on my local import car forum. I like the pictures.
The run ways are just the most efficient use of a square. Leave it to people who ignore facts and logic to over look that and call it a Swastika. Wear out the paint in the right places and your children will be playing Four Square on a Swastika.
*Does anyone even know what Four Square is any more?

Can anybody picture what a statue of Jesus done by a popular artist would look like? Bluecifer is supposed to represent a horse. Makes me shudder.

That's cool, whatever, art is art,
but why would you put a mural of a nazi looking man holding a scimitar and ak-47 standing over women holding limp babies in an airport is beyond me.
Seems like it should be in a gallery or a museum, where it's not being funded by taxpayer dollars.
but again. whatever.
Because artists do all kinds of retarded shit for attention.
That's like asking why women will stab you in your sleep for leaving the toilet seat up.

I don't think I would like a statue of any god at DIA.
Does not seem to bring good luck.
Remember the statue of Mother Cabrini hit by a lighting?
Is somebody trying to tell us something?
Just saying...[ROFL1]
it looks pretty gaudy, but I think it's interesting that the demon horse claimed the life of the man that created it.
