Besides my addictions to guns, gear, tools I also love knives. I became addicted to ESEE knives (formerly RAT cutlery) last fall and have accumulated a few since then. The latest purchase and their latest release is the beast on top. Anyone else share this addiction ? [Beer]

I want to like knives more, but every time I buy one, it just sits in a drawer until I lose it or forget about it.

Definately an addiction I share as well. No pics at the moment but a few of my favorites are the; Emerson Commander, SOG Seal Pup, Microtech Curahee, Microtech Amphibion, CRKT Desert Cruiser... There are all great knives I would trust for duty, war, and every day chores!

I have more time than money I may have to consider that.

Yo dawg, I heard you like knives, so I put a knife on your knife so you can knife while you knife. </meme>
I have a couple Benchmade knives, I typically have a mini-griptillian with me at all times.

Dude, I just about fell out of my fucking chair!!!! [ROFL1]
I have a ton of knives but really only end up using a few of them. some I have just for looks, others for use, and a few for just in case. I think I have one in damn near every room, in every vehicle, every pack and several gun cases! you can never have enough knives!

Did you make that handle?
I've been toying with engraving knives & making handles. Here's one with mademade micarta:

Yeah, I like knives too. I have a ton of them, probably more than I'll ever be able to use but they're neat. I have a few favorites, like my Benchmade AFO auto, SOG Pentagon Elite, and oddly enough my issue Camillus pocket knife. No such thing as too many knives. Or guns. Or tools, or.......

Grew up around custom knife makers and their wares. Folks like Randall, Lile, etc. I had a custom Poplin until my Dad took claim and possession of it.
While I have MANY knives, I've always been a bit of a snob, preferring customs from the big name guys over the mall store knives.

Just like in the movie "The Hunted". Its a pretty awesome peice of metal.
I would sell it if I could get what I paid for it. Don't even think I have cut anything with it yet.

A little off topic, but does anyone know when Spyderco does their factory seconds sell every year? I have really been wanting to check it out ever since I moved to Colorado, but can never seem to remember the date.

I don't know when their seconds sale is but that Spyderco Forager that jetsiphon posted earlier was purchased at their Golden outlet as a discontinued knife. He said he got a great deal on it,I think it was one of those right place at right time deals.

Quite a collection... still looking through it.

I heard these knives tripled in cost after that movie, and there was a backlash against them as being trendy.
I just had a Benchmade knife inscribed with my friends mothers initials and 1944-2010, she passed away earlier this year in a head on car accident and he's a daily knife carrier, so I figure he'll appreciate it.

i assume you speak of the 2nd to last pic? haha that thing is like a 55 gallon drum full of kick ass that could not only cut you in a bad way, but would secure some keys like you wouldnt believe!
That's the one. As soon as I saw it I thought, "Man I hope that thing has a sheath."
