Has anyone tried to do this. Frame looks the same, thought I could change out the ram and be good to go. Don't want or need auto index.

I think I would just put the 1000 up for sale and buy a classic cast turret. They are not that bad $85 or so and $9 each for the turrets. I love my classic cast turret.

Thanks jerry, that was my original plan. Just trying to save some $$$. Went ahead and ordered the ram for $7. Will post if it works. Then I will have two options.
