Man, 60% chance of precip is not a good number for Dumont on Saturday. What are folks thinking? Do we normally cancel for rain, or do we just take it like manly men and push forward?

As of now the match is on. If anything changes it will be posted. Check the website or here before you leave. If it is going to rain out most of the day, I don't want to be in it. :)

Rain? No way. Roger and rain? Never would have crossed my mind.

I can imagine the stage set ups now...

"You're out on the reservoir in your kayak, minding your own business enjoying the driving rain, when suddenly you're approached by 4 punks on jet skis who have just terrorized the teenage girls at the boat shop..."

Nice to think that way, but this weekend is the IDPA classifier. Free repeater of last year, (maybe the year before) rained out 3/4 the way through.

Somebody buy some clear coat spray paint for the targets!!

Well c'mon now, 'rained out' is harsh language! I think I was the very last shooter to go and got away with only a minor sprinkling. But this year, I have the waterproof shell and will rig for heavy weather. May even bring one of those yellow sailor sam slicker hats just for fun.

"You must paddle your way to the only cover available, a 16' classic lapstrake cat-ketch anchored nearby..."

About a million years ago at a Area match in Clear Creek, we had a 30-45 minute delay of game for a snowshower. 4th of July weekend...

Clear Creek. Take a parka, rain gear, shorts and chains for the car.

Don't worry about bringing any rain gear. The Match has been cancelled.

I believe it was 2 years ago. Some of us (not many) DID get to finish that classifier. Ya, we may have been a "bit" wet when we finished, and we had to row our way home. But what is a little deluge amongst friends. [ROFL1][ROFL1]
