View Full Version : Greene's SC Primary Win
Man...there's a lot to like and/or dislike here depending upon your own political bent...but...comical and disturbing at the same time.

How can you get a felony from showing a 19 year-old adult some porn? That same 19 year old is allowed to BE the porn.

Ya, there's something weird about the charge.
There's a lot weird about the guy, but then again, he can't be all bad as a choice either. His dirt is all right there in front of everyone instead of all nice and cozily stuffed away in a closet by using campaign funds. He'll never see office, and that's probably the biggest shame of all. When did we as voters give up ; good, bad, or otherwise, our right to choose our candidates to the parties?
Weird, I'm reading Demint's book right now. Funny how the Dems are looking like the tinfoil hatters "He's a plant" [ROFL2]

Guys I'm from down there. Literally. I was born in the next county over and own land not for from this guys residence in Manning. People vote skin color down there along with party. If your a white Dem you vote for a white Dem. If your a black Dem you vote for a black Dem. Rep, I don't think they think that way but could be wrong since I don't know any black Rep's down there. People aren't very intelligent in this part of the world. Sad but true.
This article is horrible. Some one already pointed out the porn thing but what about his 13 year Army career that started in 2007????? Bad typing I guess?
I was under the impression that the article was saying that he re-upped for 3 years in 2007 and was honorably discharged 6 months before completing.
He might be very, very, very stupid. But that just means he'll fit right in.
"...what about his 13 year Army career that started in 2007????? Bad typing I guess?
"Greene, who received a degree in political science from USC in 2000,..."
Greene's history is also little known. He was discharged from the Army in August 2009 after being promoted to specialist. He signed up for the Army for a three-year stint in February 2007, and his discharge came six months short of his military obligation.
While I have known more than a few degreed professionals that maintained Non-com standing by choice, my old man included, this seems odd to me as well. A Polisci degree from a top-tier institution in 00' and this guy is dicking around with a renlistment in 07' and ETS'ing involuntarily as a Specialist in 09'? Hmmmm...I could think of a better way to use that educational pedigree in or out of the service (maybe he just did with his win and current lime-light heh heh). I don't know about you guys but when I was trundling around as a young Spec 4 years ago I sure as Hell would have preferred to have had a high-end degree and a commission versus the added shit I encountered as an enlisted man. My point, yup...somthing sounds odd...but...I'm laughing at the lefty's overall, how do ya' miss this scenerio?
There is nothing about a political science degree that I'd call "high end." At least from what I saw when I was in college.
