View Full Version : Hail in Westminster!
Wow, it just started hailing in Westminster. Probably one of the more violent rain storms I've ever seen. It already seems to have calmed down, all within about 5 minutes, but it every where I look is already flooded.
Meh, the whole storm lasted less than 5 minutes. I still got amazingly wet when rolling my windows up though.

I know for sure those pictures don't do it justice because none of mine do either. I couldn't believe the wind and was afraid of a tornado. Now I can see the sun and mountains though. Crazy.
The lightning was something fierce here for about ten minutes.
Very close.
I love that photo of the flooded parking lot.

Seconded, but in Littleton. Ran outside and by the time they were rolled up it was over [Rant1].

marlin whereabouts in westminster was the storm? im over near 112th and sheridan...well when im in state...am away on vacation right now.
112th and Sheridan is about a mile away and most likely got hit. My car sat out in the storm for two days in a row with zero hail damage that I can see, so if you're worried about your house or cars, they are probably alright.

thanks stuart apreciate the reply. no car out just the house...house sitter didnt say anything about any damage so guess everything is ok. Went to the beach today down in galveston and man was the wind howling and the waves a rolling, surf was 5-7 feet. But was only in the 80's so wasnt to bad to hang out in the shallows.
