XKCD style (http://xkcd.com/715/), I did some google data gathering tonight (search results). Based on my readings from Brian Enos' forums, I would have expected a strong prevalence for the low/left (people "milking" the trigger), but it doesn't seem to pan out.

glock shoots "____ and _____"
left right
high 25% 31%
low 20% 24%

glock "____ and _____"
left right
high 24% 30%
low 23% 23%

Based on http://www.piedmontnrainstructors.com/resources/CorrectionChartRight.pdf, there seems to be some recoil anticipation out there.

Went to google. Typed in some phrases, checked the query count number at the top. You won't be published in a peer-reviewed journal with statistics like this, but it's worth a thought.

Here's the raw:

glock shoots "_________"

high and left 754000 high and right 823000
left and high 826000 right and high 1150000
quadrant total 1580000 quadrant total 1973000
proportion 0.249289997 proportion 0.311296939

low and left 764000 low and right 682000
left and low 506000 right and low 833000
quadrant total 1270000 quadrant total 1515000
proportion 0.200378668 proportion 0.239034396

glock "______"

high and left 28400 high and right 31400
left and high 25300 right and high 35500
quadrant total 53700 quadrant total 66900
proportion 0.242110009 proportion 0.301623084

low and left 31300 low and right 23700
left and low 19000 right and low 27200
quadrant total 50300 quadrant total 50900
proportion 0.226780884 proportion 0.229486023

Your theory is still untested IMO, as your measuring device was not precise enough.

Did every thread or post have the exact disfunction described? I would suspect probably not, and you can't tell based on the search engine results. Second, some threads could have discussed what the different results means to the shooter instead of address and exact problem by a shooter. This too can only be determined by review of the thread.

So, your measuring device isn't precise enough. You are trying to measure a mm with a laser range-finder.

It's just for shits and giggles. One of my BSs was Math/Statistics. I do think it points out well enough that there isn't the huge gulf of a bias as people think towards that *one* particular failure mode.
