You will find a 4 stage USPSA/IPSC match on the 5th Sunday of every month. If there is not 5 Sundays in a month, there is no match...

The matches are held at the Boulder Gun Club on the north side of town.

Maybe. I spoke with Lizard a little bit ago and it isnt looking good.

BTW and just FYI, the Boulder qualifier match got rescheduled for July 31 (which is the date of their next scheduled match).

Merry Christmas to everyone!

It’s not on the ECO schedule, but the Boulder Rifle Club calendar has this Sunday, the 30th, marked for a pistol match. Since the weather looks like it will be chilly but clear we figured we would go ahead and have a match. If the weather changes or things are looking too soupy out there we may have to change that plan, but for now plan to come on out and have some fun with us.

If you have to "change that plan" where would that notification be?
In the middle of last summer, with perfect weather, when "someone?" canceled the match --for whatever reason-- there were those that didn't see any notification.
Imagine showing up to a party, and it has been canceled.
We (those that showed up for the match, who ALSO didn't know it had been canceled) set up a stage and played around for a few hours anyway.

Anyway, like I said, where would this notification be? and when?

I do my best to pass along the info as I get it, but sometimes I am out of town or just plain old forget.

If anyone wants the latest "info" on local USPSA matches, not just the Boulder matches, the best thing to do is to get on the Google Groups e-mail list that Hoser has already pointed out. If a match is to be canceled the Google Groups e-mail list is the first way that shooters are notified. The dedicated few that have a chance to repeat that notice here on this forum are awesome for their dedication but do get busy and can't always post last minute status updates.

This just in from the Eastern Colorado Google Groups email list...



Boulder Rifle Club will be holding a USPSA Pistol match this Sunday the 31st. Registration will close at 8:45AM so please be there earlier to get registered and give Steven a chance to get the Palms all set. It should be nice weather so come on out and have some fun; I’ll see what I can do about hiding some eggs out there.

Shooter’s meeting is at 9AM. I hope to see lots of you there!
