Just saw this, it looks like it's directed squarely at Obama voters. I'm going to send it on to all the Dumocrats I know, that should get them going [Tooth]

...except that dems have been in power in the house and senate since 2006. Not 2008.

Regardless, I hope Obama gets his ass handed to him in Nov 2010...and again in Nov 2012.

Having said that, I don't really care if republicans win big in Nov. I hope CONSERVATIVES win big in Nov.

What conservatives? There are none. No fiscal conservatives anyway. I guess the GOP is still socially conservative... mostly because the evangelical christians haven't figured out the lies about religion are the easiest lies politicians tells.

Demicans... Republicrats... whats the difference?

"I will lie to you, steal your money and tell you its to save the world."
"I will lie to you, steal your money and tell you its to save you."

Either way, we are getting lied to and our money taken.

my two cents... it doesn't matter what color the rat is.

Ain't that the truth. The Republican Party is just using evangelical ideology for their own devices. Religion is the easiest and most powerful tool one can use to exert control over the masses.

+1. They're just two sides of the same disease.

Liberalism. For many it practically is a religion. The psychological differences between strict adherence to an ideology and unwavering faith in a religious belief are slim. Both are powerful tools to keep people from thinking for themselves.

Let's not go down the path of religious debate here. My comment was only to illustrate that the Republican Party is anything but pious. Their alignment to evangelicals is simply lip service to gain votes.

Not to be a naysayer but every one was just as happy in 2006 when the dems took the house, including me, because they were at the time trying to end the Iraq war. People were happy when Bush came to be in 2000. but yet i don't remember when we weren't pissed at the Gov. I guess thats just part of our culture and founding to be so. I just think that we need to get rid of the two party system and just vote for the right thing, and the best thing for us. These damn wars have drained us physically, mentally and financially. I just keep getting tired of people rallying "to vote them out" every two years, and we end up with the same assholes because we just switch assholes every two years.

sorry had to get that off my chest but i'll leave you with, this most of you may have heard it before (it was on Charlie Wilson's War)

A boy gets a horse and every one was happy but the Zen Master said we'll see......

The boy falls off his horse and breaks his leg and everyone was how terrible but the Zen Master just said we'll see.....

A war breaks out but he boy can't go because of his broke leg and the villagers said how wonderful, but the Zen Master just said, we'll see.........
