My son wanted a 1911 project so we picked this up from a member here.

He calls it Agent 47.

Not bad. He needs to get a second one since the guy uses 2 in the video game.

lol. Thanks guys.

I told him he needed another to match.

I think in the game he actually uses the hardballers though.

This is the government model.

Thanks again for the comments.

That is a sweet freakin piece! Is the slide nickeled or hard chromed? All that's needed is a chrome dome, a black suit, and a red tie.

Thanks for all the compliments gentlemen!

It really made his day. He says thanks.

[Beer]

He polished the slide, levers, and duck bill using a series of paper from 180 to 2000 and finishing up with some red jewelers rouge.

He learned this from his old man of course. lol

And yes the game is Hitman.

Is the front sight fully polished? I tried polishing some parts on my CZ and never got a result that pretty.

Yes hes polished the front sight post and painted the rear black.

The contrast between the two makes for a nice sight picture.

It lines up quick.

Yes I am very proud of him. We have a very good relationship and I am fortunate that we share many of the same interests.

rouckhound maybe he can use it to blind them when they see him coming. Then BOOM, he takes the shot.

I think he did good.

He's 16.

Good? He did a fantastic job. You've either got lots of trouble headed your way (cost of gunsmithing school and the firearms he'll need to practice on), or you've got one heck of a potential resource on desk. I'm inclined to believe that it's the latter.

So, tell us about the grips. Did he custom make those as well? Any details?
