WOW, the frankness of these responses on how bad things really are in China is refershing to see the truth, our media and gov do their best to make it seem like China is fine.

I am surprised at how they understand the 2nd Amendment better then many Americans and our politicians.

I’d like to ask the lou zhu (http://www.chinasmack.com/glossary#LZ) a question. It may be very naive but please be so kind as to give me an answer. Since guns are sold like this in America, is their government not afraid of social problems? Right now in Shanghai, the supermarkets selling cooking knives have also locked them inside glass display cases like this.

as I have always said...
Even if you could take away ALL of the Guns, people will resort to knives, and then you would have to regulate and control those too.

Cool link in the comments section.

Fixed for ya.
a good fear monger will never admit to his exact agenda.
Confuse, distract, lie and deny.... and when I have you so terrified of your own shadow and you have exchanged all of your liberties for "Security", it will be then you are enslaved.

Am I the only one that has noticed that the United States has always had a bad guy they were after?

"There must be an enemy or we will become complacent. And with complacentcy, become our own worst enemy."

Unfortunately, every day we travel down the well worth path of history refusing to learn its' lessons.

However, I still thank God everyday that I take breathe that I was born an American to a wonderful God-fearing, rights loving, family. This is STILL the greatest country ever. Period.

because you know the terrified un-armed citizen will cringe when the popolar media shows you drug dealers with "Assault Weapons" and drive-bys Bodies in the street.
Then comes Government and says, "Hey, we are going to take away your guns, Raise your taxes and make the government bigger... to protect you..."

What does johnny and Jane say?

They pay the taxes.

The Greeks had the Persians, the Romans had the 'Barbarians', Europe of the Middle Ages had the Muslims/Jews, etc. With America's many varied ethnicities, political beliefs, etc. an 'enemy' is necessary as a unifying factor.

Of course 'enemies' make good excuses to infringe on our Constitutional rights, too.

that's really amazing. Sounds like some of these guys have a better understanding of the USA then some of its own people.

They dont seem to think very highly of there own country.

of course they know more about the USA...just like a lot of our public school educated kids can tell you a lot more about hitler, ho chi min, africa, etc then they can about their own country's constitution.

a lot of our problems stem from our most basic education and the programs offered to our poor, our needy and our uneducated...the same reason Obama was elected.

If we want to make real change, we need to start with the kids who will carry that ideology for the rest of their life. how many libtards/socialists/anti-gunners out there do you know or see that you really think you will be able to change their mind? Do you think your mind will even be changed to say why you should not own guns?

all the organizations out there need to focus on getting into the classrooms to teach kids, show them the options, what their teachers may neglect to show/teach them, and just put it in the back of their heads and let them choose.
