Yeah, it's pretty early to be mentioning it but the Prospect Sertoma Gun Show is going to be held at the Phil Long Expo on July 17 & 18. I have a table reserved so sure hope to see/meet some of the Colorado AR-15 Shooters members there. As usual, I'll be displaying my little "Blaster" sign on my table so my table can easily be located. Be sure to stop by and see if there's anything of interest on my table/s and be sure to bring ample $$$.

Is the COS show like a curios and relics show or is it like the Tanner? It might be worth the drive if it is a full show. :)

It is a regular show. Smaller than tanner but at least you get some sellers (like bob) that will come to this one but not tanner.

And if you like things that throw heavy objects (mortars) stop by his table. ;)

I hesitate to say if it will be a "full show" or not. I reserved my table just a week ago tomorrow and the lady taking my info said that it's almost completely sold out. Now, that's what she told me. This show is like Tanner but it's always a pretty small show when compared to the Tanner. Of course, sometimes the small shows do have some bargains and unusual stuff. I'll just say, travel at your own risk and see what happens!!

OK now, that gun show starts exactly one week from today (Sat). [Help] -- I just hope at least a few shooters will show up..(with money)

You had me all of the up until you added the "with money" part.

I plan to see you there.

As it gets closer to the show dates I'll see if I can post a date/time I'll be there - you know, to sign autographs and such.

BlasterBob

Ginsue, to sign autographs? Oh yeah, on your personal checks. <;-)))

Now, at that Tanner show, if that firearm was dropped, that's bad enough. But, if the dumb ass actually pulled the trigger without checking the chamber to insure that it was unloaded, he should have a couple good swift kicks in the nutz and be banned for life from ALL future gun shows. Never did hear the final outcome - if the unintended discharged firearm belonged to the vendor or if the shooter brought his own weapon into the show. I believe each person entering the majority of shows is actually asked if they have any weapons being brought in and if so, they are then cleared by show security and have a plastic tie applied to disable the firearm. We shall see how the CO Springs promoters handle the situation of any weapons brought into the show. I'm all for safety. All of the firearms that I am taking this weekend for placement on my table were oiled, cleared and had a plastic tie applied to each of them just today. Of course some axe hole could always cut the tie, insert a live round and walk off into the sunset whistling a looney tune.

I'll be there Saturday morning in search of the jerky table;)

Other than finding good jerky I think the gun shows these days are no place to find good deals worthy of my money. I'll stick to ordering my needs/wants from the net. I just like to walk around and look.

Well, better bring at least a couple bucks just in case there happens be an actual bargain. Ya never know, maybe the jerky will be at half price. [Tooth]

I might pick up a decent size quantity depending on the price but I've noticed that the packages of jerky are getting smaller and smaller and the prices are going up and up. I would be thrilled if they were selling it for half price.[Tooth]

Im going Sunday in the mid-morning.
Some of the sellers would not really accept any of my "Reasonable" offers on the first day.
So I thought I might try Sunday this time and not jump the gun at opening like last time.

Hey Rico,
I'm always open to "reasonable" offers. Now, that is R-E-A-S-O-N-A-B-L-E offers. I'll have my usual small sign showing "Blaster". Stop by and drop off some money because I sure didn't do much at my table today.

And JerryMRC also came by and watched my stuff while I made a quick recon of the other tables. Many thanks Jerry!!

What are you doing to me?

I'm certain that I almost had everyone here thinking I'm a real hard case and you go and lead 'em to believe I'm a nice guy. Totally ruins any possibility of intimidation later on. Geesh![Coffee]

All, BlasterBob is a great guy with some very nice toys on his tables. Too bad momma has my "boys" in the vice when it comes to spending $ though or I might have walked away with something.

He is on the row to the far right (against the "wall") when you come in the door. Go about 1/3 to 1/2 way down the aisle and look for a small sign on the table for "FN Files" and "Blaster". In fact, the guy just past him has a "Stag Arms Authorized Dealer" sign hanging on the wall.

Definitely look his stuff over. If we can't support our brothers/sisters from this site then what's the point?!

ETA: For those who were there today, I got to the front door @ 1300 and I walked around the place several times and was wearing a black Stag Arms "Lefty or Righty, We've Got You Covered" t-shirt with a black/camo Rocky Mtn Elk Foundation ball cap.

I walked around many many times (red shirt guy trying to sell AK on his back) and never saw your sign, Blaster.

In general it was a waste of $8.

I made it over while getting the oil changed. Was able to find Blaster and say hello. Picked up more 308 and a few small items like a reloading tray for $2 and $1.50 223 plastic cases. Did not see some of the regular sellers as I was hoping too, needed some PMAG 308 and some odds and ends.

With the 308 @.40 I think I made up my $8 enty and my son always enjoys, got him a nice tshirt.

^^^ Quote above taken from the Merchandise forum/thread.

Not to de-rail this thread, but I missed RMGO at the latest Gun Show here in Colorado Springs. In fact, I don't recall ever seeing you all have a table.

I was hoping to see you all so I could become an official member. I'm not too fond of joining something I've got to pay for/donate to without actually meeting someone.

I believe in the mission of RMGO and think that lots more folks would join if they knew about you.

I was at the last CO Spgs show but I had a couple tables as a vendor. I can say that although I didn't have a complete sell out, it was well worth the trip from beautiful Trinidad (that's the Colorado Trinidad) If anyone here had purchased any empty GI .308 once fired empty brass please let me know what you had to pay for it at that last show. I'm starting to think of unloading some .308 regular GI once fired brass and some nice once fired .308 MATCH and Long Range once fired brass. Won't be shipping it but starting to think about taking it to sell at the big TULSA gun show in November. Any serious help will be appreciated in help setting at least an approximate value/price because I know that I'll be getting some bull shit responses in addition to the serious ones. TIA
