I was planning on using it as a hotrod 10/22, hence the flames, but I fear I may have to let her go.

Dude that is better looking that I thought it would be! You're getting better and better at this!
looks awesome! If you need another 10/22 to test on I have one you could use as a test bed![Beer]

I'm not big on engraving in general, but those flames turned out great!

I gave you shit about the Glock so I guess I should give you props for this one. Much better and you are getting a lot better at it. Nice work.
Looks awesome pal! Just like all the rest of your stuff

Its a work of art. Art takes time to create.

If I kept track of the time into it, I'd probably cry! [LOL]
I put an hour or two into it for a few nights, sometimes more, sometimes less.
Thanks again! :D

All of the work looks awesome.
I'm wondering though, does the engraving weaken the metal at all?

I can't imagine it helps it, but I won't touch areas that are "under pressure." I've yet to have anything I've engraved break & I carry arms that I've engraved, so I trust 'em. I'd be happy to let you try them out for yourself if that'll help.

Naw, I trust what you're telling me. All of your activity has gotten me to consider the possibility of doing the same but the possibility oif weakening the metal was a major concern.
Now, I just have to get past the idea of potentially messing up a firearm in an attempt to put out as good looking product as you have been.
Ginsue, don't engrave the firing pin or the main spring.

Thanks for the compliment, man. Really, you just can't be worried about screwing it up or not looking quite like you had pictured. Art is subjective.

What?
NOW you tell me.
Anyone have a spare firing pin and main spring for a Barrett 98B?
kidding
Hey TheInternet, can you shoot some video and post it? It's hard to get a feel for the depth effect from photos. Most digicams and smartphones can shoot video, just upload the file to Youtube.
