anyone know of a place locally these can be found? i got a few chip mccormick mags for cheap but the follower apparently tears up alloy frames, so i need to replace them with the wilson combat followers. id prefer to buy locally and not have to wait for shipping. thanks!

Am not 100% but maybe the shooting range in longmont, They have quite the spread on 1911 parts.

yes it is Hannu was telling me a little out it, he broke something on one of his 1911's and they had the parts he needed

Yeah, it was some small STI part, do not remember anymore what it was...

CMC has a new follower type (Powermag+) that is supposed to be "aluframe ok".
CMC spring / tube + Wilson follower = may need little tuning...
The best bet is to use a gun with ramped barrel ;)

Order them direct from Wilson.

CMC and Wilson feeding lips have somewhat different geometry and springs are pretty different.
It may work just by dropping Wilson follower in, or it may not. If it is your carry gun, I would make sure that you adjust feeding lips and spring for Wilson follower.

Yeah, if I sound too picky, just ignore this :)
