ASAP. I know it's a ways out for you but check out Bowers, Rob might even throw it on if you ask nicely.

I just installed the ASAP today but I'm looking for a front mount. I found this one and it has some good reviews all over the net. Might have to try it.

No I like single point but thought since I'm trying the MS2 I would get a front mount to transition if I want!

If you have a NON-RAIL hand guard, a.k.a. MOE, VTAC, JPI, Midwest Industries or PRI, we have a MS2 Mount available now of in three weeks. Please check out our site for more info.

Whats an MS2? But for my AR-15, not high highpower,I fell in love with Magpulls single point sling,with ambidextrous sling attachment.It's very fast when transitioning to your reaction shoulder.It can also be switched to double point very quickly.

Magpuls single point sling is called the MS2! If you're using this as 2pt. sling, what front mount are you using?

I've got a few varieties of front attachment points, don't use the MS2's, I use Vickers Padded Slings and all QD hardware. So almost all of my front mounts are simple QD attachment points.

There are options galore though. Here's another array of options:

Some of it just comes down to what you want to pay.

Magpuls single point sling is called the MS2! If you're using this as 2pt. sling, what front mount are you using?
The" CQD" looks strong and secure,and I might have to get one myself.I use a offset pictinny pushbutton QD Daniels Defense,from BROWNELLS.It's mounted on the front left hand side,just above the top of the barrel;where I put my thumb between the offset ,and the rail as a reference point,when I'm shooting.I use a Rock River Quad Rail;therefore they are not any side rails at the rear of the Quad free floater.My next endeavor, is to put it on the the left rear side of the rail forearm, on my other AR;which is not free floated.I figure it will put less pressure on the barrel.Plus,it looks faster in transition.What's your" sweet spot" front 2 point sling mount position?

I like my front mount being closer to the reciever, I push them out about 5-7 rail slots from the receiver because it works for me. Doesn't get in the way of my hand placement, I put my hand as far out on the forend as is comfortable, but that's another discussion. move it around and see what works for you. That's one of the advantages of the rails.

So, did you buy the Magpul RSA? I have DD quick detach front sling mount and I am not super stoked on it. I am looking at the RSA, what do you think?

The RSA only works with Magpul MS2 & MS3 "LockJaw" front sling attachments.

If you have push button QD on your sling now, the RSA is not compatible with your sling.

It's been available for the last couple weeks now. I even posted about here...http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31813.

I might still try it out on the next build but I love my VCAS sling with QD swivels!!
