I'm a cabinet maker, and we recently completed two rooms that are, in my opinion, worthy of being featured in a magazine. One is a kids room for a girl, and the other is a home theater. I recently had access to a digital camera with a wide angle lens, so I have some decent shots.

Any suggestions as to which magazines might be appropriate for either project?

"Home and Gardens" (House and Gardens?...) is one that instantly pops into my mind. They always have articles on remodling kitchens, bathrooms, etc... And in the back they do have space for rent to advertise.

There are a bunch of kid-specific magazines, I think. My sister was big into it.

+1 I'd be happy to just live in the theater.

WOW!!! Woodwork and you guys who can do it amaze me. All I can make is firewood. It might start out as a shelf, or whatever, it ends up as firewood.
There are some local magazines that may be a good place to start, also the show on ch. 9, Colorado & Company.
Talk to a bigger real estate company, they could have a lead on getting your name out there.

We make our share of firewood, too. We probably just make if faster than you can...

Good tip on the show. I'll do some research.

Sometimes Tom Martino has people call in and tell him why their business is special. I bet you could email him.

Did you take pictures of the whole process - before, during and after? I think networks like HGTV are trying to have associated magazine and web sites. If it is just final pictures that might be a harder sell.

It is a great job. I wish I had the money to hire you.
