Hello All,
Just joined this morning. Retired AF (20+ years). Long time since I shot a black rifle (7 years). I'm looking at purchasing a S&W M&P15 MOE (Black). I can pick it up for $900 and S&W has a $100 rebate so $800. Anyone have any thoughts on the rifle?

I personally don't know much about the S&W rifles but 800$ sounds fair.

I called CDNN good folks there. He didn't carry the MOE (Magpul Original Equipment version).

I could get the OR version and buy the Magpul rear BUIS, and folding stock later.

Decisions...Decisions.

Does that stan for USC Educated?
If YES, would "USC" be for the University of Southern California, or (most likely) the University of South Carolina?

It stands for the ONE AND ONLY UNIVERSITY of SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. Proudly educated there. Didn't even know a University South Carolina existed [ROFL3]. Although, I am originally from Massachusetts. It was a lose - lose in moving from 1 liberal/progressive infested state to another illegal alien libera infested state. Glad to be in the Springs away from all that!

Yup! You're funny and will fit right in (of course, I did hold the door open and practically rolled out the red carpet for you on this one [Wink]).

You almost lost me with the whole "originally from Massachusetts" thing (ended my career with 2.5 yrs @ Hanscom - yuck!).

So, the CDNN M&P15 promo didn't work for you because they didn't have the model you're looking for. In an effort to make sure you and others on this site are "in the know" and not overpaying on their addiction, I did a little research and found this info:

That is awesome...CDNN has a great price on the Optics Ready...Would you buy that and then accessories or just get the M&P MOE with all the Magpul goodies...this is where I'm stuck. I want to pull the trigger soon!

That is a tough choice, but in my experience, when I don't get exactly what I want - hoping to upgrade/enhance at a later date, that later date never see's the light of day.

If it were me, I'd go with the one that you ultimately want - then think up upgrading THAT later on!

That's just me though - I'm just sayin...

I have the 300 rounds of Zombie stock.... don't get me wrong.
But Like I told my son, My Luck, Ill Shoot the damned Zombie stock up on Sunday and the Zombie plague will start on the following Monday

Since I'm retired military I always have some loose change for parts and accessories.
What are you using for Zombie Stock? Bud's has some plinking PMC .223 55G 1000 rnds for $319 free shipping. I was going to get some and then reuse the brass.
