This may have been done before but I am curious as I am in the same position. For those who CCW at work. You can pick multiple choices.
I answered 2 of them and will share why.
Generally I follow the " Not allowed to carry at work and do not"
But if I feel there is a threat I will carry, so I also selected "I'm an American and I will carry where I damn well please!"
Note: Threat was not at work, threat was on the walk into work which was several blocks at the time.
So bottom line for me is I will break the established rules if I fell my safety is at risk.

Voted, not allowed:
some are allowed to carry at work - non LEO. I've not asked if I can, and will probably be denied or fired for asking my department. I will investigate further with others outside my department, just haven't had any time to do so, without bringing too much attention to the subject or me.
I can, well I'm the boss/owner. All my guys carry as well. Never know when a crazed terrorist or mad bear will enter the shop.
+ a jaunt to the shooting area relieves alot of stress.

I need to go to bed but can't (decompiling a drive)
I Read:
+ a jaunt ___ shooting ___relatives relieves alot of stress.
"Hey Honey? When is your Mother coming to visit?"
"Next week, why?"
"My Swinging target is Broken and I Need to practice!"

Need another guy? [Coffee]
My work area requires that I pass through a metal detector, so that's a no go. Its definitely a possibility if one were so inclined but I feel pretty safe in my area and the job supports the hobby.

This is how I feel. 50% of the time I follow the "rules" when it comes to this stuff. If it's a business I pretty much always carry no matter what. They're not going to see it and if they do I'll gladly leave when asked. I typically avoid places that I know are anti 2A. But my safety and that of my family is paramount and if I'm going to be somewhere that I'm not supposed to carry but I feel my safety may be in jeopardy I carry.

I follow the rules most of the time, but on the Harley there is nowhere to lock it up.

I worked at an Oldsmobile dealer in Las Vegas as a tech. We werent allowed to carry on the property but there were several of us with our ccw so we banded together and every morning we carried into work and put our guns in our tool boxes. The manager didnt have the balls to say anything to us.
My current job we work at night alot in some questionable neighborhoods. I have been threatened, even had some shmuck try to whack me with a pipe. I would lose my job before I get beat to death by some gang bangers in an alley because I wasnt packing. We had an employee get beat to death last year in California (not LA) with a ball peen hammer. 3rd time loser did time for murder got out early and bam a dead marine combat vet with a wife and kids left behind.

Home office, bitches! CCW? If I wore pants.
There is no such thing an anonymous on the internet. Your response to this poll would be available to law enforcement if the need arose.

Our building is posted no weapons of any kind, so no. However we're also in an incredibly safe area so I don't feel the need to here (not to mention flanked by numerous law enforcement agencies, both local and federal). That said, what people keep in their cars is their own business, and unofficially nobody cares about that.

The company I work for actually has 'No Concealed Weapons Allowed' Signs posted on the entrance. Needless to say, I don't carry at work.

Technically I am not supposed to carry firearms with me to work. I do anyways because I travel some decent distances from home and dont want to be unarmed on the road. I even bring a rifle or 2 for having fun and also to have some firepower in the event I have to fight my way back home [M2]
