how much for the first timer to shoot?
is it glock only? or can i shoot with my xd?
Does this mean, that Weld county does not have regular USPSA match on 8/15 ?
Hannu> You are correct. The normal Weld USPSA match that is scheduled for this Sunday will be canceled. If you want a USPSA shooting "Fix" this weekend you will have to head up to Steamboat Springs on Saturday for their match.

This is a Glock only match (which makes is a really good excuse to purchase another gun)! [Flower]

Ahhh, you see... Now we're talking!! If you slap a Glock sticker on that puppy, no one would ever be able to tell the difference. [Tooth]

Who went today? I shot master stock and competition today (not very well though). Tomorrow I am taking my son and nephew and will be shooting AM civilian. My nephew will get some pics tomorrow to put up. If anyone was there today I was the guy with the Glock.
[Coffee]
Shot again today in civilian. Had to shoot quick and get to work though. Gotta shave some time off the plates and work on the 25yd targets!

My girlfriend and I went yesterday. She shot first with her new G17. It was the 6th time she has ever shot any gun! She had so much fun she wants to drive to Vegas in January to do it again. I had never entered a shooting competition before so didnt really know what to expect. It was a lot of fun and i will do it again.

She did amazingly well and so did you!
I am happy to hear that you folks had fun and are willing to do some more competitive shooting. Shooting is almost as addictive as riding motorcycles! [Muaha]

I'd kinda like to know who won what, as in the prizes? Is it listed somewhere?

I posted the link to the results on the post above yours.
It usually takes them about a month to correct any issues and post the official results along with the list of prize winners.

Thanks. Thats what I was referring to. Quite sad when ones skills deteriorates to the point of hoping for random drawing instead of name at the top. [Shake]

Can I ask the good members of this forum to keep an eye out for the following?
Misplaced G24 (1st StdGen, 2nd Ported, Brass MagWell): misplaced at the Weld County GSSF match. It was in a black pistol rug with magazines. It is Otto's gun so feel free to contact him directly if you have seen it or through one of us regulars on the site that will get the info to him.
It's a very distinctive Glock that we've all seen Otto shoot in IPSC matches for years.
Thanks in advance.
Ken
