My employer is looking for some help in ND. General oilfield type work, SCADA techs, electricians. Lots of stuff.

We are also getting ready to write the job description for an IT support person that can also assist on the server and field network side. This person will report to meand needs to be a generalist with solid judgement but does not need to be a very experienced sys admin.

If you want info and you are really are interested in relocating please send me a PM.

I am glad members of this site are actively promoting each other with job openings etc. Things are tough out there. I lost few home buyers due to last minute unexpected lay offs, etc etc. I can only imagine how these folks go through their life, one day it was all good, next day things went South in a hurry.

Kudos to everyone on this site.

Still no responces. This is a real job, public company, not contract, comes with real pay, company truck or SUV and would expect some relo package.

More important, we train our people, we grow them and we pay them well including royalties.

If you are a entry to mid level IT admin (desktop, some server, printer, some network) and you would like to learn the oil business, networks and servers then I might be able to help you out.

North Dakota has a winter, no kidding about that, but it is also a state that hunts and fishes, cost of living is low, schools are safe and the people are nice.

For more info send me a PM.

Where in ND? I lived in Grand Forks for 6 years. I have a buddy in Fargo I still talk to all the time. His in-laws have land near the badlands and he is a wing-shooting freak. There are more waterfowl in ND than the other 49 states combined. The pheasant populations are huge there now too. Walleye and pike fishing is outstanding. UND hockey rules. Hot Norwegian and Polish chicks rule too.

If I were single and looking for work, I would be all over this.

Agreed, and you just have to go to Applebees to meet them or that is what I am told...

This position would travel from 3-5 sites as need so could home in Minot or in Dickinson. I would lean to Dickinson, better landscape, not to far from the Black Hills and just east of Montana. Offices are in or near the following 'towns'

Newtown, nd - 40-60 Staff
Ray, nd - 1-5 Staff
Lighnight - 1-5 Staff
Fairfield, nd -10-20 Staff
Dickinson, Nd - 10-20 Staff

It is my favorit place tovisit for work, much better the West Texas.

what type of experience are you looking for from an electrician? My buddy is tired of his security job and wants to do electrical again. I think he has about 3-4 years experience and did a lot of commercial stuff along with some residential. I know he also did some well and pump work as well.

Electrical and mechanical experience would be the usefull. If you want to email me a resume I can forward it directly to the area manager.

Do they need someone to "rally the troops and open cold beers"? I could do that...I could.

OK, we have the IT position ready to fill, looking for a generalist with strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.

Needs some Windows sysadmin, VMware, SAN helps, Desktop and Printer. Firewall and Network basics needed and any SQL or SCADA is a bonus.

This is shaping up to be a nice position, pay over 80 plus perks including full med and car. Lots of training opportunities as well

If you have the experience PM me and we can discuss specifics or just send a resume.

I grew up in Williston. There is a scarcity of places to live right now but the lowest unemployment in the country. I'll probably end up drilling the Dolezal up there again. our plant is in south heart. I just don't think I could live up there again.
