Egyptian AK kit

Ok...I have an Egyptian AK kit that didn't come with a barrel. Apex says a Romy barrel will work...Does anyone know how the original Egyptian barrel was in comparison to any other barrel out there (length, where the gas block and sight were located, etc) or do you know of a good place to buy an Egyptian barrel or an American made barrel that matches the Egyptian?

the Egyptian barrel should be a standard AKM. i would try to go with a factory romy or other AKM. most of those US barrels you have to do a little bit more work like drill FSB pin holes and GB pin holes.
