Since when did RPGS become "heavy" artillery?
I was looking for some pics of howies or 18 inchers and stuff! HAHAHA.
I do find it amazing that backwards countries can find all teh full auto crap they want but here in the US (the most progrssive and free-est country EVER) you have to jump through hoops.

You can't even own a .22lr rifle in Mexico. You think these guys are getting legit weapons through legal channels? It's always more difficult to do things the legal way.

Depends on the RPG itself. All I saw in those pics were RPG launchers. Some of the RPGs are basic frag, but some have the ability to punch a hole into an MRAP and then explode.
I would like a really good analysis of the cache pics before I called true or false on them and the story. At lease one of the RPG launchers was inop that I could see in the pics, and I saw NO ammo for any of the firearms or RPG launchers. I have no doubt the mexican drug cartels are dangerous to our southern borders and more, and the mexican government is broken. I'm not so sure that this article is completely legit though. Time will tell.

At this rate, it will be an autobiographical documentary. :)
I would be willing to bet that if everyone here got their collections together, it would be way more impressive. They better keep building their arsenal....
Count me out of the collections... Mine fell into the lake.
Mine ins't really that impressive. But give me a decade or two.
the neater the small arms of invading mexicans, the neater the toys I'll have after I kill them and reconquista their stuff.
You guys have it all wrong. If they stick to the beaches they can have DC. I pitty them if they get greedy and try and take anything else along the way.
This proves all those news stories earlier were correct. Damn we need to ban all gun sales, were hurting poor mexico.
I bet those weapons were bought over the counter at walmart here in the US.

First article makes it sound as if the camp was only a stones throw away.

I confess. I sell RPGs all the time to the Mexicans...when I'm not supplying full-auto guns to terrorists shopping at gun shows.

You need to go to Lenscrafters, ASAP! Check the pic with the jackets. What exactly is behind those jackets?
I seen a .22 and lever action gun too. One of those are military 1890's military. The rest I just want. Why can't I buy guns like that for my invasion of the prairie dog land?

I saw small arms ammo in this pic:

While I agree that the Mexican drug cartels are a potential threat to the safety of individuals and small communities on out side of the border, I'm not quite ready to accept that a major incursion by Mexican drug gangs across the border is in the works. at least, not at the level of calling it an "invasion".
Now, I do believe that every single day we have a "major incursion" which is nothing less than an invasion by criminal immigrants.
Then again, what do I know?

Yep, you're right. My eye are fine, thanks so much for your concern. I was focused on the patches in that pic as symbology is pretty important with groups like this. Considering most on this site "used to" have a stash like that in their basement until all the unfortunate boating accidents, I guess I'm kinda numb to the smaller stuff.
The additional pics helped out too. It looks like there are three RPG-7's in there and two of them are FUBAR. I can't tell if the the third one is operational or not. The warheads, only two seen in the pics, are wither pg-7's or og-7's. I can't tell, the pics are not close enough to show good detail. Two 50 cals, only one scoped. The shocker in the new pics is the belted 40mm's. I didn't see an Mk19 in the pics, but I'm sure someone will point out I missed it if it's there. I only saw one M203 and something that looked like a beat up M79... Could have been one of those old russian POS's though. Lots of American made munitions in that stash. Would love to see the origins of any lot numbers and who received them in the initial sale, especially the grenedes. Wouldn't at all be suprised if this was military or LE sales to the Mexican Govt in origin.
I hope to god those wet backs try something. That's the sole reason I want to move to Arizona.

I'm not sure I want to shoot Mexicans just to shoot Mexicans, but I'm prepared if they cause problems in my own back yard.

Easy Cowboy....
We don't want to shoot "people" just because they are "people". We don't want to shoot ANYONE if it can be avoided. However, we want to protect our land from being overrun and turned into another failed state/nation.
That being said... I wouldn't mind a little human on human action either. Paper and clays get boring after a while.... hence my recent delve into explosives, lol. I don't mind meeting my Maker. It's my time when He says it is. Until then, live life!

If you are that bored... you should move. Or better volunteer for any of the branch! Just saying! [Tooth]

I think you misunderstood me. When I said wet backs I wasn't talking about ALL Mexicans, just those who are stock piling arms in preparation for some half assed invasion. Shooting people because of their race is wrong. Shooting people because they are illegally coming into your country with the intent to do it and you harm isn't wrong and is something that needs to be done. If they do in fact invade it will be a slaughter and the foreign casualties will be high. Hopefully high enough that we see a noticeable decrease in strain on the system.
If I was truly shooting Mexicans just to shoot Mexicans I would be w/o a few close friends and they don't piss me off THAT much. [ROFL2]
Ok, I can agree better with that. Whew.

Well, which is it? You ask me to settle down then say you would do the likewise in the same breath. So which is it? If a group of ANYONE has plans on invading this country that I love and I'm anywhere near by I will defend it to the death. Especially a group that has been KNOWN to be causing endless crime as well as a straining drain on our economy for decades. If that makes me a cowboy then, in the words of the esteemed John McClane: "yippie-ki-ay, Muthafucka!" Some of you may buy guns to look at or as an investment but I buy guns with one use in mind. Everything else I do with them is just hobby. Maybe if there were more 'cowboys' in this country we wouldn't be faced with the hardships we're faced with currently.
Jer, relax man.
You're first statement just sounded like you just wanted to blame everything on Mexcians and go on a shooting spree... I don't agree.
You clarified in your second posting about you wanting to defend your country, etc... to which I do agree.

No, but seriously. I'm just kidding. Don't go getting all worked up because I'm not a racist nor am I looking to massacre an entire nation of innocent people. [Tooth]
Roger, I'm not getting worked up. I'm not a racist either, I hate everyone equally. Believe me if the SHTF scenario ever came to fruitition, I'd be right there by your side... Not much else I can say without getting myself in trouble, lol.
Cheers.
The real threat is angry BEARS. Just look at Jellystone, Boo Boo and Yogi are skipping the pic-a-nica baskets and going straight for the tender meat.

If there's any doubt to this just watch the 'Thread Down' on the Colbert Report. Bears are almost ALWAYS in the top five. Quite an impressive run.
