I would be concerned too with jaded women, say you have a fight with your wife/gf and they do this to get even.... OUCH!
I'm pretty sure these have been around for quite some time. Pretty good future deterent to any attacker that came up against it.
As for Ranger's comment, I pray I never meet let alone date/marry a woman so demonic

They got to send those to Africa, I was reading about one place there where the % of rape was through the roof, they interviewed this girl that was getting water and on the way got rape by 2 guys and on the way back was raped by 2 more guys. Africa is a messed up place( well to me it is)

South Africa has been a violent hellhole for a long time. I'm amazed they managed the world cup without that many horror stories.
There have been other inventions to prevent crime. I like this one for carjackers:

During the vietnam war vientamese women would to this with razor blades embedded into large bottle caps.
(or so at least my gramps told me)

It wasn't that, but a metal one from the 1800's
more power to em. we own and carry firearms to defend ourselves so why not!!!

Seems pretty hard to forget that you have something the size of a Chinese Spicy Mustard jar crammed into your vagina.
it might deter rape, but I think once that thing got stuck on him he'd just kill the victim.
