I heard this yesterday but didn't hear who said it or where it was said. Now I've found the YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1-eBz8hyoE) of Pete Stark, D-CA, saying:
"The federal government, yes, can do most anything in this country."
Well...glad that's solved and we don't have to deal with that confusing Constitution thing any longer.
Pete Stark, D-CA, gets my vote for "Ass-Clown of the Week". Congratulations!
Elected Representative in "I haven't read the Constitution and I don't understand it in the slightest" non-shocker.
I have been hearing this clip all morning.
Shocking as it may be I am not surprised. Politicians, especially liberal politicians think they are above the law.
