I saw a for sale thread were a guy made his own paracord sling.
I decided to experiment and came up with my own.

About 80' of continuous 550 paracord. Took about 3 hours. What do you guys think?

That looks pretty good! Did you follow the example from the other post? What did you change?

Looks pretty cool to me. Where'd you learn to weave that? I've got 100' of paracord laying around.

I started out doing the first step in the instructions but then just started doing my own thing. Once I got the 5 runs done between the swivels I just started wrapping it and then wove the string back through the wrap.

The hard part was setting up the swivels and then dealing with 100' of cord

I must have missed these directions you guys are talking about. Link?

I think if I made that I'd be pretty pissed off if I had to unstring it and use it to navigate a cliff face or something. Definitely looks cool. Good job.

I'd make a paracord belt in a second if I didn't require my belt to do anything more than hold my pants up. Perhaps some paracord suspenders though...

Nice job, that's a pretty cool design you put into it.
