So is everyone just really broke or you have everything you need? I am not at all encouraged by this and the fact that I can find neither clients nor work anywhere across the country and even world-wide. Those that have jobs - hang on to them at all costs.

It'd save you more time to group them all together; time is money my friend.

Right...and then folks would complain that there were no pictures. More of an economic question any way.

I am in charge of web sales at my business and over the last few years Craigslist has been outstanding for sales.
During the last 6 months or so clients from craigslist have changed dramaticlly.
They expect to wheel and deal and make offers of 50% off the listed prices.

Anyone working at selling these days gets depressed.

I did just sell a welder on the trader's den here at a price that was less than scrap value.
I didn't get a single hit on craigsilst with it. I found the buyer here!
I've just been seeing people very tight with their money lately too.

Another thought. I work for the Fed. My job is secure to the point that we have hired 2 people in my field in the last two years. The catch is they are being paid 20% less for the same work.

There is this trickle down effect that applies to many in my age group. Directly or indirectly many with jobs are now helping to support the rest of the family. It IS keeping them from living on the streets but the disposable income for those that are working is less because they are supporting others. Just a thought.

And yes I am even tighter with my $$$ than I was before.

Certainly don't have everything I need - it's definitely the first choice - no dough!

In fact, I've seen a few items from you that really interested me but I just don't have the money to buy the things.

Hang in there, it's got to improve. Right?!

Hang tight.. things are not bottom out yet as many said. So far the home buyer incentives, tax credit, cash for junk have given many false (temporary) outlooks.

You have items I want but I've had to draw a line between wants and needs. Right now needs have the priority. I visited your shop and bought items when wants were no problem. [Beer]

Soooo grateful I have (a) job (not career) right now. We are hanging on and our situation is improving. Caught back up on student loans/debts, not living in a ghetto, recently was able to purchase a computer - though that is kind of a "need" for my wife for editing pictures etc... but I get to game on it! oh yeah! But we still don't have "disposable income" like we would like... In fact, I'm about to blow the last of mine tomorrow at the DM shoot.

you have nice stuff, and I would love to buy some of it, but when my son looks at me and says " Daddy, Grapes..."
well I guess the toys wait.

I Dunno how many things, Ive sold on craigslist. Great place but watch for the ass-hats.
I had a guy interested in my $70 Goggles for $50 wanted to haggle me to $30 and then Deliver them to the other side of Denver...

Ohh, and I Totally agree with the one huge for sale thing every week instead of 20-some separate threads.

I think most folks are spooked by the peaks and valleys of the economics. No body is trusting any financial reports from any source and folks are hanging on to their cash.
I know how you feel..........

Well, keep your eyes on my posts...cause I am selling EVERYTHING I have as far as preps and tools and cold winter clothes/boots that I have stocked up on. I am moving to the Caribbean and I need to get rid of it all. I'll try and ship an 870 and a 9mm but all else must go in the next 45 days!
