Okay, let's try this again.

I worked at the Rocky Mtn Elk Foundation [RMEF] table for the Colorado Springs Sportsmans Warehouse Chili Cookoff a couple of weeks ago. I posted the event here and even offered to buy a ticket to our gun raffle for the first CO-AR15 member to stop buy and say hello. Amazingly, NO ONE showed up and I still have the raffle ticket .

Starting tomorrow, August 6 through August 22 (see banner below), the Denver Bass Pro Shops is having there annual Fall Hunting Classic (A "Fall" event in August? Oh well).

This weekend and the weekend of Aug 14/15 I know they will be hosting many other organizations, such as the Rocky Mtn Elk Foundation.

To that end, I will be working the RMEF table (or, if there is more than 1 group of us, the table for the Pikes Peak Chapter of the RMEF) from 0900 - 1600 on SATURDAY, 7 Aug ONLY.

I am re-extending the offer to give this raffle ticket to the first CO-AR15 member who stops by and says HI to me (ETA: Saying HI isn't enough - you'll have to introduce yourself as a CO-AR15 member).

We have 4 people scheduled to work that day for our Chapter - one is a woman (not me), two are 60+ years old (also not me), and the goofy ~45yo with a goatee (oh! oh! THAT's ME!!!).

My birthday is 8 days later (Aug 15th). Let me give YOU the present of a raffle ticket as you give me the pleasure of meeting you. Bring the family - my wife and son love this place.

Wow. Nobody even commented on this thread, and nobody came by Bass Pro.

I'll just chalk it up to the fact that everyone was just busy yesterday. Unless there's something you all want to tell me?

ah man...I was up climbing Longs Peak yesterday or I would've stopped by. I would've stopped by Sportsmans but the day just kept getting busier :(

I was working....

Now THAT is good news (I think).

And like "the Experts" that don't live here are gonna tell ya how to hunt here.....

I typocally ignore the "experts" and their seminars for that very reason, but the place is still toy store for the outdoor enthusiast.

Sry Ginsue, didn't even see this thread and as Byte said... We were getting the new PC up and running.

BTW Byte, you weren't "fixing", you were "building" brother and a sight it was. Thanks for the lesson. Also, BF2 WILL run on Win 7 64, just need to manually update punkbuster and make sure 1.5 patch (1.41 will CTD for unknown reasons) is loaded. Thank you again for all your help. If there is anything I can do for you let me know.

Dont forget to set the scheduler in AVG and Ad-aware to scan while you are sleepin.

On my way home Saturday seems there was a nice sized accident that had 25 closed for a bit. Anyone heard what happened? I cant seem to find anything on it.
I didn't get home until after 6.
