Ok, so I'm inexplicably still watching Top Shot :). It was an interesting challenge to shoot a fuse off - and I was glad to see them incorporate military training into what makes someone "top shot" in making them raise their heart rate before shooting. Now they need to get four or five RI's to yell in their ear and stress them out WHILE making those shots and I'll agree that they are getting closer to being a top shot :).

I'll also be glad if they ditch these mamby pamby 125yd targets with big red targets in favor of a more challenging 300yd silhouette, but that's probably not good television.

I see what you did there Gunny. HAHAHAHA. [Beer] Speaking of, what sort of targets are those? They almost look like the flash paper you'd use in chemictry class, but I don't know.

I agree that on some of the "challenges", I'm sitting here thinking: Really, you can't hit that... wow. Course I grew up with slingshots, bows, revolvers, etc out on the farm. So even though I'm not the best shot, I do think I seem to be more "well rounded" than some of them. However, some of them are surprising like the Kelly kid. He does seem to have a natural finesse for firearms... though it could serve him well to check the attitude a bit.

I'd love to try out for it. I'd never make it and I couldn't afford it with missed work, etc. But it'd sure be fun.

Yea, that's probably why that phrase came to mind :).

Well if anything this week didn't have a lot of useless drama-that shooting the fuse was a pretty good challenge-the rest was soso. [Coffee]
