Another old new guy here. I reside in Northern Colorado on the east side of the great divide. I've been a member of Northern Colorado Rod and Gun Club for seven(?) years. Currently, I have a Colt AR-15 Sporter II (I think) that was made in the early '60s. It has less than three hundred rounds down the tube; all the shots are made by me, and I have a mid-length Rock River upper on a DPMS receiver with a RR parts kit. Next, I'd like to get a lightning link. All NFA Apply, of course. That's all I have in the line of ARs.

You're correct, I don't get out too much. I got that rifle from a friend who lived in Nebraska. He bought it new, and he never shot it. I bought it in 2004. I had it about two months before I woke-up one day in the hospital. I had a life-threatening infection that cost me my right leg. After 4+ months in the hospital, I was finally released. I'm having a difficult time walking again because I also have rheumatoid arthritis that worsened considerably during my "stay." I'm dependent upon family and friends for transportation. So you're right BigBear, I don't get out much.

Wow. BigBears spot of humor got slammed with a whole lot of seriousness real quick.

Paladin, you've really been dealt some crappy cards in life. I hope that a little time with us will turn things around.

We've definitely got to get you out to the range to do some serious shooting.

BTW: I love your choice of handles for the site.
