This looks interesting. Anyone had a chance to play with the ambi mag release? Pros/Cons?

It's only worth while if you are a leftie IMO.

Ummmmmmmmmmm I'm a lefty. [Shy]

The mag release is the only operation that is not ambi friendly.

Welll thennn. Looks like a great piece of kit. And an essential one as well

Give it a try. Just don't muck up your gun with one of those bolt release gizmos if you don't have to.

Or, pick up a leftie designed AR.

I am leaning toward one, when they hit the market. I don't quite understand how the bolt release contraption is ambi. Then again, I have no problem the it's stock location. ;)

I'm ready for one, costs 30 less than other options and as a lefty this is one issue I have to fight. The saftey is not an issue, nor is the bolt or CH but mags force me to break position.

I'm a lefty and have no issues with the mag release. I usually grasp the mag and push the button with my thumb and pull the mag out and drop. Reloads are a little slower but I'm not that coordinated to drop a mag while grabbing another yet.

Looks and works like the one on our 16S SCAR...
