Cold Fire

Discovery channel on Thursday showed a product called Cold Fire which was really impressive. A fire extinguisher in an aerosol can. I realize that a show called Pitchmen is out to sell stuff but this product sparked some interest. Product looks great for vehicle and house. It's for smaller fires but very easy to use. The only question I have is what's the shelf life on the can ? Haven't found that info yet. The guy who developed it sprayed it on his arm and went over the area with a propane torch without burning himself !! Again I know it's TV but I thought some of you guys might be interested.

I remember seeing this awhile ago and had interest in it . . . and then I forgot I guess. Just me being me, I do question purchasing a product that your life could potentially depend on off of an infomercial.

This is one of those products where I'd like to hear somebody's first hand experience with it before depending on it. I got the below information from this site (http://www.josephprep.com/ColdFire/index.html). On paper it's a must have product IMO.

Ohhh man. When I read this at work this morning I read "infinite". Obviously much much different then indefinite. [Tooth]

Maybe contact the company? This stuff has been around for awhile now. The link I posted was from 2007 and the article in the link listed above was from 2003. I think it's the same stuff with different packaging. That doesn't really matter though. What matters is it's at least been out for 8ish years so there has to be info on it's can life I'm thinkin'.
