hi,

I'm a new guy, recently relocated from behind "enemy lines" in Massachusetts. Found this site though a link in a classified listing.

looking for a place to shoot near Broomfield, and pick up some stuff that I was denied ownership because of living in Mass for most of my life

Welcome to America! :D

You can throw away all those empty shell casings that came with all the guns you bought while in Mass now.

Welcome to America! :D

You can throw away all those empty shell casings that came with all the guns you bought while in Mass now.

and change out all those 10# triggers. . .
and weld bayo lugs back on,
and unpin all my adjustable stocks and muzzle breaks

I left (sold) most of my Mass compliant stuff - (like glocks, springfields, and any "pre-ban" mags) before I moved to keep them in the state, so I only have about 1/2 my collection. . . time to "rebuild"

looking forward to next weeks gunshow. I dont know what my first purchases will be, I always wanted a Kimber 1911, an AR pistol, and an HK P11- all things that either couldn't be bought in Mass or cost as much as a new car because they are rare in the state.

Welcome, Unfortunately, if there is not a changing of the guard around here, you may have jumped from the pan into the fire. But get them while you can. :)

Welcome Joey the T.

You'll find that the trade off of the coast for the mountains is well worth it. The sad thing is that seafood isn't as good and cost more. No more taking a quick drive up to York or Protland Maine to get some fresh lobstah, and the 4th of July fireworks displays around 'deez parts isn't nearly as grand as watching them from the bridge roads in Cambridge or from along Storrow Drive.

All in all though, CO totally rocks and I think (once you adjust) you'll love the place.

What part of MA are you coming to us from? Did you bring the Boston area accent? You'll find that we actually pronounce words the way they're spelled here. (P'buddy would now be Pea-body; Medfud is now Med-ford and Worchester is now....er, uh...hell, nobody around here can say it - at least not when it's combined with 'shire and "sauce" as in Worchestershire sauce!)

I lived between Lexington & Bedford from 2003 through June 2005. I got so tired of being made fun of for the way I speak. I hope you're ready for that.

Oh, one last thing... Khaki's is not how was say "car keys", it actually refers to tan clothing. [Coffee]

Okay, enough taunting. Welcome!

The fire work show at Grand Lake is supposed to be the biggest in the state. Personally, I find most firework shows boring, but I like the one that the school of Mines puts on during E-days. Welcome to the site.

It is a shame to all of us that the bread basket of American Liberty has been fouled with so many moldy crumbs!, unfortunately Colorado runs 2nd to Calixico as the least freedom of western states, primarily because of the whims of the Peoples Republic of Denver and its Axis Ally Saudi Aurora! if you go downtown, watch your hat, your coat, and your ass!
